Stunningly beautiful 'Belle Époque'villa, built 100 years ago, is now a family home. It has recently been very carefully restored by local craftsmen and builders under a watchful eye. The villa has all modern facilities combined with period furniture to retain the elegance and atmosphere the villa has always commanded, set among landscaped gardens with a pool, and views of the lake.

The beautiful marble entrance hall leads to both lounge and kitchen, with it's new, hand painted cabinets with granite work surface, double oven, hob microwave, dishwasher, and all modern kitchen appliances. The elegant dining room is adjoined to the kitchen and has seating for 14 people. The Italianate lounge decorated ceilings, marble floor and open fireplace.
The comfortable air conditioned bedrooms sleep up to 12 people, some have en-suite bathrooms. Full maid service is included when you rent the villa.

Together with the beautiful setting of Villa Negri, situated in Laglio, home of George Clooney, close to Villa D'Este and Como city and convenient for spectacular golf courses and water sports, here you will find everything you need to spend a relaxing holiday on the most beautiful of Italian lakes.

  • I just spent an amazing week at Villa Negri with 3 friends. The photos don't lie...this villa is beautiful. It is spacious and modern. The location is wonderful to relax at the pool or to use as a base to head out to Bellagio, Menaggio, Como, etc. The details in the villa are exquisite. Silvana could not have been more friendly, kind and helpful in planning our Italy Adventure. She is a real gem. The villa is within walking distance of a few wonderful Laglio restaurants and about a 10-15 minute walk to Urio for another couple of dining options. There is a little market about 3 minutes from the villa and a wonderful local place for a cappucino towards Laglio (about a 5-7 min walk). We found it helfpul to have a car to get to the towns with the ferries to visit the other sid eof the lake. Villa Negri far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend a visit and look forward to a return myself! Ciao!
