Experience the peace and solitude of the Alaskan wilderness in this lakeside cabin. There are no access roads; one has to fly in or boat in from the town of Port Alsworth, 8 miles across the lake. The cabin is one of many buildings making up Koksetna Wilderness Lodge.
The owners are located on the 5 acre site and available to aid their guests in any way to make their stay memorable and comfortable. There are two greenhouses and outside gardens affording fruits and vegetables to be shared. Guests may choose to explore by boat or hydrocycle the bays and Chulitna River for fishing, bird and animal watching and beach combing. Some just want to relax away from clocks, noise and activity. There is access to a 1500 foot gravel airstrip. There is a phone in the main lodge building. |
