This sunshine yellow house sits directly on an inlet of the Gulf of Mexico. From it's unique position both the sunrise and the spectacular sunsets can be seen from the deck or backyard. Our family always enjoys the wildlife display playing out daily in the water with sightings of manatees, dolphins, fish and assorted birds.Rent a boat at nearby marinas. Also, it's great fun fishing and crabbing from the seawall!!!
The house is a two story with a one bedroom/one bath unit in the downstairs with full kitchen and washer and dryer. The upstairs is a two bedroom/two bath also with full kitchen and full-size washer and dryer and large wrap-around deck.
This excellent getaway house is located on a peninsula that juts out into the Gulf, so there are water views galore. It is quiet and there is very little traffic. Great for unwinding and getting away from the cold and snow!
The town of Hudson is reminiscent of Mayberry with a small downtown area with a beach. It's a slower pace of life where you can relax. There's Sam's Beachfront Restaurant, a playground for the kids, a second restaurant across from the beach area and a boat marina where boats can be rented. Stop along the street on your way home from the beach and enjoy old time rock-n-roll at the local ice cream parlor or grab a dog or Cuban sandwich at Papa Kebos down the way. There's even a place to enjoy the finest in French cuisine if you don't want to face the real world. Fresh seafood is easily found as well as produce at roadside stands. There is also a local thrift shop to satisfy the thirst for treasure hunting. If that's not enough you can venture out to the large flea market taking place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There are shopping opportunities galore as well as activities such as miniature golf, more beaches, including awesome Clearwater beach, which is only 45 min away, golfing, flying airplanes at the local airport, Disney World (two and one half hours) and horseback riding, just to mention a few.
