Our luxurious home-away-from home is located on the upper level of a two-story building in Wailea Ekolu Village. This prime location is one of the closest of Ekolu's units to the ocean, situated directly adjacent to the 15th fairway of Wailea's magnificent Old Blue golf course. The prestigious Wailea Tennis Club is just across the street. There are spectacular panoramic ocean views of the islands of Kahoolawe, Lanai, and Molokini, and the West Maui Mountains from both the master bedroom and living room lanais, as well as from the kitchen, bedroom and living room windows. You will enjoy dining and relaxing on the two ocean-facing lanais during the day, and watching magnificent sunsets at night. During the winter/early spring months one can enjoy watching whales frolicking in the distance. The third lanai overlooks the majestic foothills of Mt. Haleakala.
Our spacious 1400 square-foot condominium (including the three lanais) has a separate entryway, kitchen and bar area, living/dining room, and two bedroom suites, each with its own private bathroom. Air-conditioners are in each room. We have added high-speed internet with WiFi at no additional cost to our guests. We have had our vacation home decorated with specifically selected fine artwork, decor, and comfortable furnishings for an aesthetically beautiful tropical theme. Our second story advantage allows us tall vaulted ceilings that give our condo a much more open and spacious feeling, as well as allowing for unobstructed ocean views.
Our recent remodel includes new solid granite slabs in the kitchen and both bathrooms, travertine floors in the entryway, kitchen, and bathrooms, travertine tile in both showers, and hardwood floors in the living room and guest bedroom. Our favorite shower is in the guest bathroom where we had an award-winning tile contractor artistically inset small granite Honu (turtles) throughout the shower walls. Both bedrooms, as well as the living room, have separately controlled air-conditioners. There is a TV in each of these three rooms, with a large LCD flat panel in the living room. The kitchen is fully stocked with all amenities. There is a new large washer and dryer in the master bedroom area for your convenience. We purchase new plush towels and linens each year to update our unit. Extra beach towels and equipment are stored for our guest's use.
For your enjoyment, Ekolu Village has two lovely tiled swimming pools that overlook the ocean. Our guests have access to free parking and several outside barbecues amidst the 17 beautifully maintained acres of tropical landscaped grounds. Reduced rates are available to our guests at the Blue, Gold, and Emerald golf courses, as well as the Wailea Tennis Club next door. You will enjoy our free concierge service for any of your entertainment or dining arrangements.
A short walking distance away is the prestigious Shops At Wailea, an upscale center with fine restaurants, art galleries, clothing and jewelry outlets, coffee emporium, general store, and sundries shops. One can indulge in sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving at the nearby award-winning beaches of Wailea, Ulua, Polo, and Big Beach, among others. Close by, for hiking and exercise enthusiasts, is a two-mile-long paved promenade that winds its way along the ocean and the Wailea luxury resort hotels.
