Only a five-minute walk, Kona town has an abundance of cafes, bars, restaurants, outdoor markets, art galleries. You can also experience a variety of activities on the island including an active volcano, spectacular waterfalls, rain forests, great golf, white, black, and green sand beaches.

Nice comfortable condo. It has everything you need to have a great time in Kona. Super location and you can walk downtown. Dennis said we would love it and we did, Property was updated, clean and has a super view from the Lanai. We enjoyed walking downtown and buying flowers, coffee and fresh food from the farmers market. I would recommend this unit to anyone wanting to go to Kona.

We highly recommend Dennis and Peg's condo. It has a breathtaking view within walking distance of Kona's restaurants. The grounds and condo are beautiful and well maintained. The owners are easy to work with and check is a breeze.

Fantastic View and walking distance to the restaurants and shops made our visit just excellent. This condo has one of the best views possible in the entire complex. Top floor, very close to the water and away from the road made this unit perfect for us. Sue can't sleep with any noise. The picture you see in the listing is the view from the lanai. With the lanai door open, you hear the sound of the surf cascading through the condo. Everything you need for a great stay is here. Kitchen and furniture was very nice and a brand new bed made our stay very comfortable. The grounds were very well maintained. Pool and barbecues are cleaned daily. We arrived 2 days after the Tsunami and they had the grounds and pool picked up, drained, cleaned, and operational within 2 days. We were very impressed by that. From the Kona Reef, we made our treks around the entire island. There was a lot to cover but this location made it easy to do. Excellent owners who really care about their property. Thank you so much for a great stay.....

We searched on-line for sometime before finding this gem. The first part of our trip was a waterfront condo in Maui that left several things to be desired. This unit however is clean, well-furnished, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable king bed, remodeled bathroom. On top of all that the view of the pool and ocean from the lanai is beautiful. Watching the surfers and boogie boarders each day was a treat, along with all the boating activity including the parasailers. The location is superb, within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants on the Kona seawall. But most of all, we appreciated the support of the owners. They answered all our emails promptly and made us feel welcome and comfortable as if it were our own home. Lots of things to do and see on the island, but we found great snorkeling just a 5 minute drive down the road at Kahalu’u Beach Park. Every kind of fish you can imagine along with turtles in calm, shallow waters. Not to be missed if you like snorkeling.

Location/location/location! View/view/view! Two things that mattered most to me and to my husband. We could not have been more pleased with both of these, and there was more. A very comfortable apartment. The pool, ocean property, cookout area, parking, easy walk to town, restaurants, shopping all made for the most wonderful vacation. We will come again, and try to rent this very same property!

Hawaii is a dream and this condo was in the middle of paradise. My husband and I woke up in the morning to crashing waves, fragrance of flowers in the air and a beautiful view of the ocean. The condo was clean and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed to cook, make drinks and sleep comfortably. It was quiet, had a beautiful pool and outside grill area. We could walk to many restaurants, shopping and church. The beaches in the area were beautiful! We hope to go back in 4-5 years and we wouldn't stay anywhere else! Enjoy!

My husband and I stayed in this condo at the Kona Reef Condos in February 2011 trying to find the perfect condo for us. During our stay in Kona, we stayed in three different condos and the Kona Reef was by far our favorite. We can say with experience that this Condo is very clean. The condo’s furniture was clean and comfortable and the condo itself has been remodeled (the bathroom was exceptional) and I understand they just bought a new king size bed. We found this condo to have all the comforts of home. We really liked the chairs and table on the lanai, they are taller than most, making it really easy to see the ocean and pool area. We saw lots of spinner dolphins and whales from the lanai every day. We were also impressed with the owners of this condo they were friendly and helpful answering any and all of our questions. The Kona Reef Condos have all the luxuries in Hawaii you could possibly want. A swimming pool and spa that was the perfect temperature for your enjoyment; comfortable chairs in pool and grassy areas to lounge in; the beautiful grassy area between the pool and the ocean for lounging and to take short walks; and it also has access to the beach from the grassy area (the turtles and marina life were really cool). The barbeque area had clean barbeques and picnic tables for eating with family and friends, and the grounds were very well maintained. The Kona Reef offers the convenience of elevators. You might not realize just how important an elevator is until you haul all our groceries, water, soda, beach gear, etc. up to the third floor. Please know that there are a lot of Condos in Kona without elevators and climbing three flights of stairs with all you stuff is not fun (just saying). My husband and I both love to exercise in the beautiful surrounding areas but climb flights of stairs with heavy stuff is…. well what can I say, it’s not my thing. We have found our perfect place in Paradise and we can’t wait to go back next year, in fact we have already booked our six weeks.

We were so delighted to find this treasure. This was the second time we were able to return to this paridise. The owners were very hospitable and pleasant to work with. The location was perfect, top floor, quiet, perfect view of the ocean, walking distance to town with great restaurants and activities to enjoy. When we arrived the condo was clean and very well maintained with an updated bathroom and king sized bed. We could spend many hours around the pool and enjoying steaks from the grill. Mornings always started with coffee on the balcony watching the ocean for dolphins or whales to surface. The beaches in the area are wonderful with beautiful sand beaches. We snorkled with colorful fish and huge turtles. I would recommend this to friends and relatives to enjoy this treasure as much as we have.
