Lake Eufaula (Lake Walter F. George) is located on the Chattahoochee River, 50 miles south of Columbus, Georgia. Covering 45,181 acres, this freshwater reservoir is known as "Big Bass Capital of the World." Lake Eufaula offers excellent year-round opportunities for fishing, boating, skiing, and other outdoor recreation.
Bring your family to our lake for skiing & tubing. Fishing off the dock at night builds memories.
Great vacation location. Located on the Georgia side on Pataula Creek. Fishing is fabulous in this area-- crappie is a favorite!
Our quaint little cottage on the lake has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths.
The "open" kitchen has new countertops,double stainless sink, above the stove microwave, new electric oven, & lots of dishes, pans and utensils.
* New white-washed pine floors/fresh paint through out & new game table
* The master bedroom has a queen bed,private bathroom,and TV/DVD.
* The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and day bed.
* The den, kitchen and dining area are all open with a vaulted ceiling. This opens into the heated/air conditioned sunroom which overlooks the lake. In the sunroom you will find an air hockey/mini-pool table, sofas and chairs.
* Ceiling fans in all rooms
* The deck (off the sunroom) has a picnic table where you can watch the sunset as you dine.
* This home is located across the lake from a public boat ramp.
* The private dock is only feet away from the house. There is a ladder leading down into the water from the dock so you can swim or float around.
* Boat rentals and a public golf course are also available at George T. Bagby State Park (ten minutes away).
Eufaula, Alabama, and Fort Gaines, Georgia (both 15 minutes away) have beautiful historic homes, restaurants,historical sites, etc.
* Plan for a laid-back vacation - leave your fancy clothes at home. Bring your family to enjoy some "quality" time together at the lake. Enjoy the sunsets from the dock or deck.

My husband and I loved the weekend we spent here before he had to go back overseas. The home was very welcoming and clean. Everything we could have possibly needed was there. Our favorite spot was the sun room overlooking the lake. We will for sure rent this place again! Thank you so much for letting us use your home!

My family stayed for three days over spring break. It was a great break from going to the beach. The house is clean and very inviting. I would recommend to anyone. We do plan to go back.

Our baseball team was playing in Eufuala for the state tournament. We were looking for a place with a washing machine and dryer and a place to let the boys have some room. This was the PERFECT place. The yard was big and the kids loved swimming in the lake. The house was cozy and warm and you felt like you were at home. The kids had alot of fun in the sunroom with the game table. It is a quiet, relaxing place and the kids had a great time. Eufuala was about 30 mins away and the best place we ate at was Legends Sports Bar. Also the baseball park there is one of the nicest parks we have played at. If we are ever in the area again this would be the place i would stay.

We wanted a place to stay and fish for a couple of days during spring break and this was the perfect place. We caught over 30 fish! The house was very clean and had all the comforts of home. My boys LOVED the little game table and we had a lot of fun playing pool. They also played card games. A short ride to Eufaula and we had groceries and went to eat mexican for supper there one night. The owners were very helpful and we got to meet them as we were leaving the property. We stopped at Providence Canyon on the way home for a picnic lunch. We will definitely rent here again sometime and have family members who are also interested!
