Address: 1 Windjammer Lane.... Harbor Island is still considered the best kept secret on the East coast...a gated community with 24 hour security. It is a little bit of country on the ocean and so small you will never (that's "never") see a crowded beach. And, we send out tenants information on restaurants and on the Beaufort area.

Hearing your 13 year old teenage daughter squeal as she takes her initial tour of her summer rental with her best friend...... Priceless. We are a private owner. Our 5 bedroom 4 1/2 bath home features 4 Queen beds and one double, including two master suites and wonderful ocean views. On the North end of the Island, this 3rd row house is closer to the beach than some oceanfronts on the South end due to the extensive dunes and accretion there. The beach is literally a 45 second walk from our front door (less if you prefer to run, a favorite of lst timers on the Island). The screen porch and outside decks face the ocean. We are the only 3rd row house that is directly across from the beach access, giving easier access and a better view. AND, yes we have an Internet Connection. PLUS, we sent you info on restaurants, etc.
The house was built & designed by interior decorators in 1996. The Great Room, where the family gathers, has a cathedral ceiling and includes the living and dining rooms, the screen porch on one end and the kitchen on the other. You can see the ocean (& dolphins)from the screen porch, the outside decks, the living room, the dining room, and the upstairs Master bedroom (from both front and back decks.)
The Bedrooms feature:
* Master Suite by itself on upper floor with vaulted ceilings, bedroom and separate sitting room/ desk, New Queen bed, hardwood floors, CLAWFOOT TUB, SEPARATE TILED SHOWER, TV, 2 decks (ONE A WRAP AROUND), sliding glass doors, ocean and marsh views plus a separate office on the main floor entrance to this suite.
*ORIGINAL MASTER bedroom on main floor has new queen size bed, TV, jacuzzi tub, two sinks, spacious closet, adjacent shower and hardwood floors.
* Third bedroom: Brass bed (Queen) with hand painted children's mural on wall and jack and jill bathroom with tub and shower.
* Fourth bedroom: Queen bed with jack and jill bathroom, tub and shower.
* Fifth bedroom: Double bed
Each bedroom has a separate sink and water closet. Big screen TV in living room with VCR and DVD. 4 TV's total. Dining table for 10, Full kitchen with bar and two sinks. Two car garage. Wonderful sunset views. Bring your telescope for beautiful starry nights. OWNER WILL SEND RENTERS INFO ON DINING, ETC IN Beaufort area. ARE YOU REALLY READY FOR THIS?
