Why the Owner Chose Playa Conchal
We chose this location due to the dependability of the weather. We had enough vacations with days of clouds or rain. This location has a distinct "dry" season in which no rain falls from around Dec 1 - May 1! The only really rainy months there are Sept and Oct. We also chose it because some of the best "undiscovered" Costa Rican beaches are here. There are 3 beaches within walking distance and 2 more that you can drive to. All are on dirt roads and virtually undiscovered by the masses. Someday, that won't be the case, but for now - it's paradise!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
We like the peace and quiet. The property is not located on "hotel row" - so if you're looking for a crowded beach and hotel after hotel, this is not the place for you. This is peaceful and quiet where you can enjoy the sounds of the birds and monkeys - and even see some while just walking to the beach. There is plenty of restaurants and night life within 20 minutes of the condo, but when you return in the evening, you can truly relax and sleep in peace.

This unit looks as nice the pictures show! It is located in a quiet and undiscovered area with some of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. We enjoyed lots of walks on the beach, hiking in the nearby hills and listening to the birds and monkeys just off our condo deck. If you like to cook, the kitchen is accommodating for that. We usually had breakfast and some of our lunches at the condo but treated ourselves to dinner at many fabulous restaurants in the neighboring towns which are only about 20-30 minutes away. Great food on the menus, some of our favorites were the fresh fruits, veggies, rice, beans, Mahi-Mahi, Shrimp & Lobster. We also enjoyed a full moon Catamaran & Dinner cruise which I would highly recommend. Every sunset was gorgeous! We also had the most adventurous day ever at Rincon National Park - great package and very reasonably priced, we were able to zip line, repel, rock climb, horse back ride, tube down a rapid river, had a nice buffet lunch and then relaxed in the afternoon with mud baths and hot springs. If you are looking for a relaxing trip with warm weather and the ocean in mind, I would highly recommend you check this out for yourself.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

This unit is absolutely beautiful! Upon arrival the unit looked exactly like the photos and was very clean. It is located in a very quiet area with wonderful amenities nearby. The staff on site are very helpful and friendly. Morning walks on the beach or in the nearby hills are wonderful! We ate at many restaurants in neighboring towns that were all delicious. We would recommend exploring all the nearby beaches, surfing lessons, checking out the local shops and an extra trip to Arenal! We will visit Costa Rica again and would definitely stay here.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children.
