Cherry Log development is a quiet community in a perfect location just 90 minutes north of Atlanta with easy access off of highway 575/515. Situated between nearby Ellijay, Blue Ridge and Blue Ridge Lake, Second Wind offers the opportunity to participate in many activities such as mountain festivals and apple houses, scenic train rides, white-water rafting, tubing, antique shops, golf, fishing, horseback riding, car racing, biking, and quaint local restaurants, all within a short drive of where North Carolina and Tennessee meet Georgia. Outdoor enthusiasts and families alike will enjoy nature’s beauty complete with a covered bridge and rustic mountain chapel, babbling stream, stocked lakes, and hiking trails, including the Benton-McKaye portion of the Appalachian Trail located within the community.

You can expect a very clean cabin fully furnished with everything you need, except the groceries! All the kitchen necessities, appliances and linens as well as telephone, 2 TV’s, VCR and DVD, washer and dryer are included. The cabin is just right for small family vacations or romantic getaways with one bedroom downstairs, one upstairs and a cozy loft with sleeper sofa and game table.

After a full day of activities, toast your toes by the crackling fire, play games, read, watch TV/movies or melt away your stress in the bubbling new hot tub under the moonlit starry sky. In the morning, sip your coffee or hot chocolate in the rocking chairs on the spacious screened porch. Leave your watch at home and come to Second Wind where time seems to stand still as you watch the hawks soaring lazily, take in the sounds of nature in the crisp, fresh mountain air and become rejuvenated by the view.
