You will be smitten by this nearly new Forest Street cottage, which offers Seaside charm cradled in the niceties of a contemporary, open floor plan with hardwood floors, granite countertops, Wi-fi high speed internet access, flat screen televisions with cable in every room, and built-in sound system.
Surrounded on two sides by serene pine forest, Smitten offers year-round privacy, yet is steps away from the pool, chapel, and town square. A spacious gourmet kitchen features commercial appliances and is open to a step-down great room, furnished with four overstuffed chairs and sofa.
From the great room, the wicker-furnished screen porch invites you to read, nap or enjoy a casual supper. There is a full bath downstairs, while upstairs, an ample Jack and Jill bathroom joins a huge King bedroom and a cozy bedroom, with two extra-long twin beds that easily convert to a King bed if desired.
The tiled master bath, with double shower and a jacuzzi tub, serves the master suite that offers a King bed, a sun room with wet bar and a private deck. All three second floor bedrooms open onto a large deck overlooking the forest.

The Unique Benefits at this House
We are in the quietest part of Seaside, steps from the West side pool and the chapel. We enjoy morning walks along the nature paths of Watercolor and the beach of Seaside. Our large porch faces a park, so we enjoy a lot of natural light. We are members of Shark's Tooth Golf Club, which our renters can enjoy.

We stayed at Smitten in July and really enjoyed this vacation. The house was superb and well decorated and furnished. We enjoyed lounging on the multiple decks. The kitchen was absolutely fabulous.

Our family was truly "Smitten" at your lovely home from the first day we arrived in SeaSide. The decor and furnishings were Beautiful! We walked the short distance down to see the ocean and was amazed at how emerald and clear the waters were. After strolling along the beach for awhile, we had our first memorable meal at the Great Southern Restaurant right along the main grassy square of Seaside's Town Center. Every morning when we awoke in your home, Smitten, we felt truly relaxed and couldn't wait to ride bikes again and explore another way to shop at Medica's Market for the daily items we needed. We only went to Publix down the road once. Everyone in Seaside made us feel welcome and were very friendly. Such an adorable, quaint vacation spot that is too wonderful to explain and living in Smitten made our trip just perfect! It had everything at our fingertips that we could possibly need and the spaces to relax and read a book were numerous in your home. We always had hot water and there were plenty of linens and pillows to choose from. We loved having the in-kitchen desk to organize our brochures and maps each day. The choice of two open porches and one screened-in made it fun for everyone to spread out. The lighting was great when we returned after dark and we were able to darken each room for those sleep-in mornings. Our family made so many wonderful memories there over our week of May 15-22nd for our daughter's college graduation from the Univ. of Alabama. We hope to return again next year when she will need another week of vacation after her 1st year of Law School. Thanks for everything! It was truly splendid and we were smitten indeed! Roll Tide!!

Our week in Smitten was just perfect! It was clean, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. We have been coming to Seaside for 12 years, and this is the nicest, most comfortable place we have stayed in. I certainly would recommend it to others!!

We have been vacationing in Seaside for 13 years and have stayed in many of the homes. Smitten is our very favorite one. It is warm and inviting and so comfortable for our family of 6. We have never stayed in the same house twice but have broken that rule with Smitten. We look forward to many return visits.

We loved the quiet area of Seaside and the house was so beautiful! It was very comfortable in the den and had a well equipped, gorgeous kitchen. The bedding was very nice also. The pool was very close by as well as the town square. We will definitely come back again!

We just returned from our second visit to Smitten. We love this home for our family because we really feel like it is a home away from home. The large family room makes our evening movie nights a real special time! Comfy furniture and flatscreen tv's throughout the home! The surround sound is a treat while cooking or even upstairs in the master at the end of a long day! The kitchen is over the top! Bathrooms are updated and spacious - the bedrooms likewise with plenty of storage - we really move in and feal at home - suitcases are put away and the fun begins. I love that the home is so well maintained and has always been very clean. We have been to Seaside four times and the location of Smitten can not be beat. There is an expansive green space adjacted to the home which is a real plus! We enjoy the privacy of not facing another home from the front porch or the top balcony. The breezes are so nice from either place. We especially enjoy ending the day upstairs on the balcony. There is even a mini bar upstairs in the master area to keep cold drinks and such! Seaside is always amazing, but Smitten makes it an effortless, comfortable place to call home! We can't wait to return!

Our family has rented Smitten for the past 3 summers and we have always had a wonderful time! It is in a great location, just minutes from the beach either by foot or by bicycle. The house is in excellent condition, we love the master bedroom and bath, it is very comfortable and spacious! And the other 2 bedrooms are great for my kids, or my parents! Lots of balconies to sit on and enjoy the views. We even watched 4th of July fireworks from the 2nd floor balcony! The kitchen amenities are perfect, it has everything you need to make meals special! Comfortable living room with a pull out sofa! We love Smitten!

my family recently stayed at Smitten for a weekend wedding and it was incredible. what a great house in a great location at one of the most beautiful places on the gulf coast. when i go back to Seaside, Smitten will be my first choice!
