Living in the Arctic north of Norway, we want to share our Tucson condominium with you when we are enduring the long winter nights. Our condominium is situated right on one of Tucson's best golf courses (Golf Club at Vistoso). The area is meticulously maintained, and you will love living, playing, swimming and hiking in this area.
Our upstairs condo is one of many in this area, but you will find small Norwegian touches to your desert vacation experience.
We have recently updated our stereo system to BOSE, and included an iPod/iPhone docking port.
RECENT UPGRADE:
In September 2010 we have had major work done in our condo to satisfy you and us:
1. Rebuilt the entertainment center to accommodate our new 42" flat-screen HD TV.
2. Taken out all old carpets and flooring and replaced them with natural-fiber carpets and tiles.
3. Repainted all rooms.
4. Installed new IKEA bedroom furniture in the master bedroom.
The condo looks like new, and we will update our photos shortly.

Why the Owner Chose Oro Valley
We love contrasts, and the Sonoran desert is as far away from the Arctic as possible. Tucson also offers all the attractions we enjoy.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We ususally start the day by hiking 1-3 hours in the surrounding mountains followed by a delicious "fruit and cereal" breakfast on the balcony. The rest of the day can be spent shopping, dining, sunbathing or just relaxing. We also enjoy the desert wildlife in the morning and at dusk. Rattlesnakes, gila monsters, javelinas, coyotes, rabbits, road runners and deer have all been observed nearby.

My wife and I bought this condo in 2005. We love hiking in the surrounding mountains as well as just soaking up the sun by the pool. Our winter home is in the Arctic north of Norway where we live close to children and grandchildren. A big photo of the Grand Canyon is our reminder of Arizona.

We went to visit friends in Oro Valley, however wanted to have our own accommodation so decided to rent a condo. We were delighted with our selection and with the great customer service we received from our initial contact through to the end of our stay. The condo was very clean, spacious, comfortable, and well-equiped; a great location only a few minutes from our friends and in the lovely Rancho Vistoso area, with a beautiful golf course, lots of places to walk, and very well situated. With the availability of a vehicle, access to great shopping, dining, and tourist attractions around Tucson and the surrounding areas, there is a lot to see and do. We enjoyed the many ammenities--pool, hot tub, and the club house/ business centre which also provided Internet access as a courtesy. It is a nice gathering place. The weather was outstanding, and we were able to dine out on the bacony of the condo, as well as sit out to read, or visit, and enjoy the scenery. We wiould absolutely recommend this resort and this condo to our friends!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

Dear potential guests, We bought this condo in 2005 after visiting the Tucson area several times. We live in the land of the midnight sun in North Norway. In the winter there is no sun above the horizon for two months, and we really love coming over to our Tucson condo. It is the perfect place for us - wonderful hiking trails (we love Catalina State Park and Pichacio Peak State Park), swimming (in the pool) and shopping at La Encantada. We hope you will enjoy our place as much as we do every time we are there. Liv and Vinjar
