Comfortable, cozy antique house in great condition, a half a mile from Padanaram village and harbor, in the town of South Dartmouth. Access to water from a path, where you can paddle a kayak into Padanaram's perfect natural harbor, out to Buzzard’s Bay.
Master bedroom and sitting room on the first floor as well as a reading room, TV room and dining room. Twin bedroom off the kitchen [complete with an industrial stove]- two bedrooms and play/sitting area upstairs. Very open feel - one room flows into another - in an old house which has been lovingly renovated and added to over the years. 3 working fireplaces, alot of charm. Gorgeous summer gardens. This house is simple and sweet and feels good.
Great neighborhood in a lovely New England town, 10 minutes from the ferry to Martha's Vineyard in New Bedford--35 to 40 minutes from Newport, 30 minutes to Providence, and 30 minutes to the Cape Cod canal. True New England feel.
