We arrived late and found "The Roost" to be extremely accomodating,clean, and very well decorated. It was well stocked with the everyday items and provided the room our family of 5 needed. The views were beautiful and it was within a short drive of all the nearby attractions in Maggie Valley and Cherokee. My family and I travel to the mountains frequently and this was by far one of the best places we stayed.(And we were able to bring our pet.) My little boy referred to it as his "new home." The Breeds were helpful and there was absolutely no hassle, that sometimes comes with home rentals.We didn't utilize it but there was a spacious hot tub avaliable as well. We look forward to visiting "The Roost" again.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.

My family spent Thanksgiving 2011 at the Roost and was very pleased with the accommodations, rooms, and supplies. We had everything we needed to enjoy the holiday and time together. Thanks Greg and LizRecommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, families with teenagers.
