We call it 'The Bear Condo'. Our condo is continuously updated and has been renovated in modern cabin/mountain decor. Here is a quick list of items you'll enjoy at our condo: boot and glove warmers, complimentary hand 'hot bag' inserts for gloves, spa towels, hotel-like toiletries, complimentary coffee and tea basket, coffee maker and french press, waffle iron, I-pod docking clock radio, curved hotel style shower rod for increased space, hair dryer and curling iron, super comfy King bed with fresh linens, snow boogie for the kids( a sled), complimentary use of walking sticks in the summer months, first floor easy access with no elevators to hot tubs, fully equipped kitchen (see amenities list), gas fireplace, patio, high end cookware, 2 flat screen TVs/ 1 DVD with small library, cable TV, free WiFi in the building, board games and books, and other items you won't find in other units. Our building enjoys it's own 2 hot tubs and dry sauna. The Village Pool is also very convenient to have, especially for the kids. We have a fully renovated kitchen with granite tile, tile back splash and every appliance is spotless! You'll check in to a clean and cozy condo. The unit has 2 high efficiency silent wall mounted electric heaters plus one space heater. We have a carbon monoxide detector in the unit.
We will only accept renters 25 and over and ID will be required. Absolutely no pets are allowed as my husband and I both have allergies and asthma. Max occupancy is 4. No smoking products allowed in the Trails End Building.
The best part about this building is it's ideal location to the slopes and town. Slide/ski down to the Quicksilver lift and ski in from the Silverthorne run. Ski and Ride school including 2 small children's 'carpets' meets at the slope side of our building. Buy tickets, rent skis or other equipment at Breeze Rentals right out the back door. Although we are just 1 block from town, should you need it, the Summit Stage FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE stops right across the street, providing transportation to various places throughout summit county including other ski areas like Copper and Keystone. The COLORADO MOUNTAIN EXPRESS provides shuttle service from the Denver International Airport. Schedule them in advance and contact them directly.
UNIT LOCATION WITHIN BUILDING
This unit is on the first floor of the building. There are only 8 stairs to get to the first floor from the front entrance of the building. We are a handicap accessible building by wheelchair lift and chair rail mechanisms arranged with building managers. Our unit is conveniently located close to the front and back entrance, the indoor and outdoor hot tubs, and the ski lockers.
Parking is by permit only and 1 vehicle per unit is allowed to park in the private lot in front of the building. It is uncovered parking. Once you park the car, you may not need to get back in until you leave because you are so conveniently located to most things. Get your groceries and beverages on the way in at City Market on Park Ave.
Our building has 2 hot tubs of it's own and a dry sauna at the slope side of the building. The swimming pool is available to guests. Both the swimming pool and the hot tubs are open from Memorial Day-Labor Day and from opening day of ski season until closing day. Outside of those dates, the pool is closed and there is a chance that the hot tubs will not be available if maintenance is in progress. The location of the pool is across the street at the Village Pool. Please bring your own pool towels. We do provide 2 spa towels for you with the option of laundering them yourselves or paying a small fee of $5 for the cleaners to launder them. The reason we may charge for the cleaning is because we maintain our linens with bleach and they are cream colored. The Spa Towels are bright blue and cannot be cleaned at the same time and require a separate service.

We are a ski in ski out resort rental property (much like ocean front). Being a high quality, 5 star property with amazing amenities, our rates are extremely competitive and are up to date. We're happy to promptly respond to inquiries that are to VERIFY the RATES LISTED BELOW OR OUR SPECIALS and/or the dates on our calendar. CLEANING FEES: We don't charge the $55 cleaning fee unless you're booking for 3 nights or less or your total for your stay is less than $500.
RESERVATIONS, DEPOSIT, PAYMENT OPTION AND REFUNDS
Now accepting 1)e Check, 2)personal check and 3)secure personal payment through banks at no cost (sometimes called Zashpay, personal payment, or person to person).
Reservations are not guaranteed until final payment is made. With the exception of summer (2 night minimum stay) and off ski season, most reservations require a minimum of 5 night stay. If filling in gaps, less may be available. Holiday and other times may require 5, 6, or 7 night minimum. Due to self-management, when booking dates in less than 10 days, wire funds or pay pal with associated fees may be required.
We collect and hold a $300 (on average) damage deposit check until check out cleaning and key return. OR option 2 is to use the e check payment through the VRBO site with the optional damage insurance for as low as $49 non refundable. REFUNDS are scheduled on an individual basis. In general, we offer some refund amounts on a prorated by date basis up to approximately 30 days prior to check in. At that point, all payments become non-refundable. We do, however, attempt to rebook in the same season for a similar price.

We do not allow pets or smokers. Added in March of 2012: Boot & glove dryer machines-plus complimentary glove heat pads while supplies last-you won't find that amenity in other units. - A view from above shows that the Trails End building is ideally situated in the heart of the activity at Breckenridge. The obvious and most important feature is the ski in and ski out to the Quicksilver lift. In just a short distance from the condo you also have Main St. Station that is the town center for outdoor concerts, farmers markets, festivals, shopping, restaurants, bars, rental shops, maggie pond and more. Come here for a ski vacation, park the car and never have to get in it again for shopping, going out to eat, or listening to live music. Get away from the city any time of the year-it's easy! Take the free shuttle 'Summit Stage' to anywhere in Summit County. In the summer, our perfect day in Breck starts at Lake Dillon for a fishing boat trip, then into Breck for Happy Hour at Mi Casa, then to the hot tubs and dry sauna, and finally kicking back in the condo with a movie. We like to wake up, drive to the trail head at Mt. Quandry, just 15 minutes South, take a hike, come back to town for a concert at the Riverwalk Theatre, and finish the day with a massage at Simply Massage. Our favorite restaurant is Michael's Italian Restaurant at 326 S. Main St. Jack Nicklaus Golf Course in Breckenridge offers 36 holes as well as a nordic track in the winter. My wife and two small children (ages 3 and 5) stayed here and absolutely loved it. We had never stayed at a ski-in/ski-out location before, but The Bear has spoiled us. Walk down the path out the back door, down a short hill, and you're at the ski school. We'd walk the kids over to the school in the morning, drop them off, and come back up for our own skis and equipment. It was just so convenient! In the afternoon, I would take my 5-year-old up the Quicksilver until the lift closed, then we could ski down the mountain by ourselves and end up at the condo's back door! And when you're not skiing, just walk around the corner and you're right in the main section of town. Plenty to eat and see. We only got in our car on the day we went over to the tubing hill. Extremely convenient for families with small children. The condo has to be one of the nicest at Trails End. Just as the pictures show. Very comfy, with lots of extras. And you're on the first floor, right out to the slopes. Lisa was very pleasant to deal with, and responsive. Would highly recommend it. Tried to stay here again in 2014, but the week is already taken!

We had a great stay! The condo is in a great location with just a short walk to one of the lifts and the downtown area. The condo had everything we needed and the hot tub after a day of skiing was fantastic! We booked the place on a Sunday evening for the upcoming Thursday and the owners had a quick turnaround getting the keys to us before we flew out.

Can't beat the location
Can't beat the location
Short walk to town, even shorter walk to chairlift. Also, being on the first floor makes it that much easier when loading and unloading car. The king bed was very comfortable. It was great with two kids too (pull out is comfortable which is not often the case with rentals) but as mentioned for an extended trip it might get tight. Really this place couldn't be more perfect for a couple. We have stayed at a lot of places in Breckenridge on this and we hope to return to this one, with or without kids. Thanks Lisa!

This property is excellent! Ski-in, Ski-out. The first floor location is near the hot tub, sauna and ski lockers and is very convenient. The condo is beautifully decorated and the new queen size mattress is absolutely wonderful. I loved this unit during my ski vacation in March 2012 and returned in July 2012 to enjoy the unit again for mountain biking. The owners are extremely helpful and respond quickly to questions/concerns.

Our family of four (Mom & Dad and twin 6 year old girls) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bear Condo. The condo is nicely appointed and very easy on the eyes. We really appreciated the location. The condo backs to the Quick Silver chair lift so it is true ski in/ski out. What is also really nice is its proximity to town. Great dining options and shopping are a block away. We rarely took our car out during our week long stay. Since the unit is on the first floor, the ski lockers and hot tub area are just steps from the door which was very convenient. The hot tub area has indoor and outdoor tubs and is great for relaxing after skiing all day. We came back to the condo during the day for lunch and naps when needed. This saved a small fortune when compared to eating on the mountain and was much more comfortable. The owners were easy to work with and responsive when we had questions. Everything went smoothly, and we hope to return again for future ski vacations.

This condo was perfect! It was spacious, well decorated, and very comfortable. It truly was ski in/out! I loved that it was a first floor condo and very close to the hot tub. The kitchen had everything you could want. We only stayed for a short trip but could have easily stayed for a week or longer and been completely comfortable.

Why the Owner Chose Trails End:
We chose Breckenridge for the town charm and activity and world class skiing without the high toneyness of other areas. Trails End is an ideal location because once you park the car you don't need to get back in until you leave. Ski in and out and walk to town. We love that we can get here from Denver in an easy 2 hour drive. Breckenridge is a great summer getaway with 80's in the day and 50's at night. During the fall when the leaves are changing, we love to come up Boreas Pass Road into Breck and take in all the wonderful changing Aspens. We're just 15 minutes away from our favorite '14er' Mt. Quandry. We love to go to the lake during the summer and boat and fish on Lake Dillon, a 15 minute drive North. We don't golf, but we have family that does, and they tout Breckenridge Golf Club as among the most beautiful and some of the most challenging in the State. You can golf here 8 months out of the year too!
