Brian and Angie Davis live in Bloomington, IL and have owned the Bear's Den since 2002. Just like many of our guests, we love to visit the Smoky Mountains and all of the attractions in and arround the Gatlinburg, TN area.
We visit the Bear's Den at least three times a year to make SURE that everything is up to our standards. We know how important it is to have everything clean, working, and looking just like you expected!
I'm an avid photographer, so Angie and I love to spend time sightseeing and hiking new trails . . .always with a camera close at hand.

Homeowner Response:
Jennifer - We're SO glad you enjoyed your trip! We were watching the weather and HOPED that you could navigate the snowy and icy roads. We're heading to the cabin on Friday to pack up the Christmas decor. We'd like to SEE a "little" snow while we're there too! Brian & Angie Davis

Beautiful log home! Bear's Den is a great getaway. We arrived after dark on Thur. evening and settled in nicely. Grilled hamburgers. The cabin is so nicely stocked. Everything you could need . . you have. Went downtown on Friday. Mostly window shopped. The weather forcasted snow and boy did the snow come down. We ate lunch at The Ship (yummy!!) and the snow started. We arrived back at the cabin before the roads became slick. It continued to snow /sleet on and off all night into Sat. Four Thirty-Somethings had a blast playing in the snow!! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!

This was our first trip to the Bear's Den and we had a wonderful time! We usually come to Gatlinburg at least once a year and we have always wanted to stay in a cabin. We are so thankful we found the Bear's Den. The cabin exceeded our expectations! I loved feeling like I was in the middle of the woods and being so close to downtown & Pigeon Forge! We have already decided that we will be coming back! We loved the Christmas decorations! Thank you! And my girls, 2 and 5 loved the coloring materials & games! You've thought of everything.

When we arrived, we were greeted by "Mamma Bear & 2 Cubbies". We had a fantastic trip. Weather was great! Peaceful . . loads of shopping. We are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Magical!

We really enjoyed our stay in your cabin and appreciate all gthe little things you have done to make it feel like a "home away from home". We had a visitor at 3 AM the second night we were there. A loud banging noise woke us up and a look out our bathroom window caught us by surprise! A large black bear was sitting on the rock beside the trash holder trying to open the cans. He was not successful but did manage to uproot the metal base they were sitting in. We liked the added excitement to our trip. Your cabin has the appropriate name of "Bear's Den"! P.S. - WiFi was a nice addition to your ammenities.

WE felt like we wer home the minute we walked in. You had everything we could possibly need. And we enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. Thanks so much for a lovely stay. P.S. I'm from California so the Smoky Mountains in the Fall was a real treat!

Your cabin is beautiful and had everything we needed. We were only here a few days but had a wonderful time. This trip will always be special because our daughter and her fiance came with us and he "Officially" proposed to our daughter and gave her a beautiful engagement ring. Who knows, maybe someday they'll come back to this cabin, just the two of them. Thanks for sharing your beautiful cabin.

We have been to Gatlinburg many times but this was our first stay at the Bear's Den. We had a wonderful visit! My in-laws flew in from Colorado and had never been to this area of the country, so we wanted them to enjoy the area, and the Bear's Den exceeded our expectations! Thank you so much for sharing this great cabin.

This was our first stay at the Bear's Den and we had a wonderful time. It was just perfect for our little family of 5 (or the "traveling circus we like to call it). Our kids loved it. My husband and I have been to Gatlinburg 7 times but this was our daughter's first trip. We have lots of great memories to take back home with us - Rides at Dollywood, shopping, miniture golf, and plenty of good food. My daughter mastered stair-climbing during our stay (she's 16 months old), and our boys enjoyed the hot tub. Thanks for sharing your home with us!!
