This new & luxury Penthouse is ideally situated on Playa Norte, one of the best beaches in the Caribbean, and just a few hundred yards from the soul of the island, the village centre, with its numerous shops, restaurants, bars and night spots. The apartment itself is located on the upper floors of the new 6 storey building. Downstairs is the two bedroom suite; the master bedroom, with king bed, the other with twin queen beds, and each with ensuite bathrooms. Separating the bedrooms are the fully equipped kitchen, dining and living areas (with a further pull out bed).

A huge balcony off the Master and living rooms also has the spiral staircase leading up to the 1,400 square foot terrace area (elevator access also) with close to 360 degree views of the island. There you will find a Jacuzzi with a wonderful view of the beach, along with other unique decorations. The space is ideal for entertaining (wedding parties for example), or family picnics with its shaded oversized dining table, lounge area, wet bar, easy light grill, refrigerator, CD surround sound and full bathroom.

Fully equipped the luxury condominium comes with free wireless internet, cable TV, separate individual air conditioning controls for each room, along with TV's, DVD & CD players, radio alarms, telephones, electronic safe deposit boxes, closets, and irons in each bedroom. The kitchen contains refrigerator / freezer, stove, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, knife set, cooler and bottled drinking water.

Downstairs take advantage of the full (24 hour) bilingual reception and concierge services, pool side snack bar, pool and beach sun loungers / umbrellas, laundry facilities and much more.

All rentals include full daily Housekeeping.

Isla Mujeres is a very small idyllic island just 20 minutes by ferry from the relative hustle and bustle of Cancun. Here you will find a little slice of heaven with Turquoise water, white sand and it's "tranquila" atmosphere. The island offers great reefs with an amazing environment for divers and snorkelers. You can enjoy a lot of activities on the island, like the turtle farm, dolphin adventure or just relax on the great beaches.

  • We stayed in this condo from 24/09/09 thru 10/01/09. This has been one of the best vacations ever! we had a wonderful time, the location couldn't be better. We had had in Cancun, but this was the first time in Isla Mujeres. the condo is beautiful!! Every morning we had our breakfast with a wonderful sight to the beach, and the fabulous rooftop terrace for the sunsets... Very friendly staff and water activities are right on the property. There is a restaurantat at the hotel perfect for lunch, snacks and beverages. Margaritas are delicious! We spent one day touring the island in a motorcycle and we went to "garrafon" for snorkeling and visited the turtles and the ixchel temple. I highly recommend the penthouse #503 and 504.   • i have been coming to isla for 13 years, staying at a neighboring resort. i decided to splurge a little, as i watched the ixchel being built, i said i want to stay there. the condo was great, the roof top at night, staring at the stars, laying on the bed, listening to the stereo, very, very nice. fouton uncomfortable. english CNN would have been great. on a great beach, sunset grill is the best. ask for milo, and tell him "mr lemon drop" sent you. being able to charge to your room was a plus. guest services were very good, as was the maid service. AWESOME place overall.

  • We had a great stay at this condo. We have stayed at another unit in Ixchel and the bed in this one IS more comfortable. I know the point of going on vacation is to not cook but we had a diabetic with us so we cooked a lot during our weeks stay. More pans to cook with and a set of tongs would be helpful. Overall another great visit to Isla. Having all the Ipod hook ups was great. Getting to listen to our music was awesome. My in-laws watched movies every night on the TV's. Would stay here again! Thanks for a memorable stay!

  • We stayed in unit #501 with another couple July 4th weekend and loved it. Great unit and incredible views. We also loved the poolside bar, pool, and beach. Third stay on IM and will definitely be going back.

  • We had a wonderful experience at the Ixchel Beach Hotel. The staff were very nice and accomodating. The facilities at the 505 & 506 penthouse were wonderful! Beautiful rooftop terrace & great views. Also, Ceceilia was a pleasure to book with. She was very responsive and flexible. We will be going back to Isla and the Ixchel again soon!

  • We had a wonderful time on Isla Mujeres. The condo is gorgeous and the views from the lower balcony and the penthouse deck are amazing! We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the big table on the penthouse deck and just loved looking out at the ocean. The location could not be better. We just walked the few steps to the beach whenever we wanted to and could easily walk to the town to eat or just enjoy the atmosphere. The Ixchel staff are extremely helpful, efficient and polite. The condo was immaculate and everything in the building was very well maintained. I hope I can return some day!!

  • This was the best vacation ever! The condo, the beach, the island....Paradise! It couldn't have been any better. Everything was perfect. The last day, we were so sad we had to leave, we were trying to think of a business to open so we could stay there! We will definetly be back. Cecilia is the sweetest, most helpful person and at the front desk, we absolutly loved Giovanni.

  • I should not even tell you this, but I cried...I cried on the ferry ride as we were leaving the island for the last time. When I tried to imagine the perfect vacation, my dreams did not paint the picture for what Isla offered me and my family. If you want to visit a place where the people are friendly, the views are spectacular, the food is delicious, the drinks are abundant, and the room is out of this world, I would strongly suggest you make a reservation today. It was paradise. From lounging on the custom made bed on the rooftop terrace and gazing at the stars or lounging on the beach or walking the streets of downtown Isla Mujeres, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The kids loved it all! They were trying very hard to find their dad a job on the island so that we would not have to leave...and I am considering the move...the sooner the better. The staff is fabulous and so very helpful. We took a private tour of Chichen Itza as well as a private boat ride with snorkeling. Playa Norte is the place to stay and #503/504 is one of a kind. Simply said, it is heaven on Earth.

  • Great location, fabulous rooftop terrace for sunsets and cocktails. Friendly, courteous, and helpful staff. Beach is fantastic and you can arrange snorkeling, etc activities right on the property. Some remarkable restaurants very nearby. Clean and comfortable accommodations. We have already booked our return trip.

  • Hi Cecilia, Thanks for all your help that helped make our wedding in Isla as unforgettable as we knew it would be. Your place was fantastic, hosting our guests on the terrace (and in the hot tub!) and spending a week with family and friends before our big day. We love the island and your apartment and will be coming back for many years to come. Your help with local information through the swine flu media blitz was reall appreciated and we're so glad we came to stay at your place.
