This luxury Penthouse is ideally situated on Playa Norte, one of the best beaches in the Caribbean, and just a few hundred yards from the soul of the island, the village centre, with its numerous shops, restaurants, bars and night spots. The apartment itself is located on the upper floors of the new 6 storey building. Downstairs is the two bedroom suite; the master bedroom, with king bed, the other with twin queen beds, and each with ensuite bathrooms. Separating the bedrooms are the fully equipped kitchen, dining and living areas (with a further pull out bed).
A huge balcony off the Master and living rooms also has the spiral staircase leading up to the 1,400 square foot terrace area (elevator access also) with close to 360 degree views of the island. There you will find a Jacuzzi with a wonderful view of the beach, along with other unique decorations. The space is ideal for entertaining (wedding parties for example), or family picnics with its shaded oversized dining table, lounge area, wet bar, easy light grill, refrigerator, CD surround sound and full bathroom.
Fully equipped the luxury condominium comes with free wireless internet, cable TV, separate individual air conditioning controls for each room, along with TV's, DVD & CD players, radio alarms, telephones, electronic safe deposit boxes, closets, and irons in each bedroom. The kitchen contains refrigerator / freezer, stove, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, knife set, cooler and bottled drinking water.
Pool side snack bar, pool and beach sun loungers / umbrellas, laundry facilities and much more.

I am proudly Mexican, from Monterrey, Nuevo Leon and my husband Andrew is from Leicestershire, England. We spent our honeymoon in Isla Mujeres in 2003, then we traveled to Quintana Roo in 2005 with my parents, sister and nephew,during this trip my dad suggested we take a day trip to Isla Mujeres...
While there, Andrew and I decided to take a walk along Playa Norte and this is when we saw Ixchel Condos under construction.
My husband Andrew and I live in USA now and in Isla Mujeres I feel reconnected to my beloved Mexican culture and my country that I miss a lot... Isla Mujeres is a wonderful place, so Mexican, with friendly people. Isla Mujeres is in our hearts and it brings to us such happy memories of our lives, our honeymoon, our trip with my beloved Mexican mom and dad +, brothers, sister and nephew, those trips with our English family and all our English, Mexican and American friends. It is indeed WONDERFUL to go there and feel and remember the life that I use to have when I was a little girl, seeing the locals living their lives, sitting outside their homes, smiling to people, oh!!! that reminds me of my life in Mexico that I miss a lot...

We stayed here at the end of August for 3 nights with 2 kids – had a relaxing and fun stay. This is a great penthouse, we enjoyed amazing sunsets in the Jacuzzi every evening. Location is perfect (for dining, beach and touring), and the unit is fully equipped with everything we needed. We were taken care of from the time we stepped off the Isla ferry. Cecilia is wonderful to work with – she is responsive and accommodating with our travel needs. We will be sure to return to Ixchel and can’t wait to stay in this penthouse again.

We stayed here for 4 great days with our 3 kids ages 8, 5 and 5. Everything was perfect - the accommodations, the setting, the town, the beach, everyone involved with helping make our stay exactly what we wanted it to be. We came here in the middle of a 2 week vacation to Cancun and wish we had spent the entire two weeks on Isla Mujeres. Thank you for sharing your amazing place - we will definitely be back!

I absolutely love this penthouse!!! My husband and I return every year around the same time and always book this property. It has a gorgeous view, the management company is fantastic and we love the amenities. This is our 4th year coming back and I even did a girls weekend most recently. The property has something for everyone and the area surrounding the property is accessable and within walking distance. It is fantastic and we couldn't be happier. Two couple spent a very enjoyablve week at Ixchel. Best location for beach and Hildago st. Great roof top patio. If you are not looking for a resort enviroment this is the place. Do your thing. Felt like I was at home, very comfortable and met all our needs.

We could not have stayed at a better place!!! The pictures DO NOT even come close to how beautiful it was!!! We stayed there for our honeymoon, 9/12/10 - 9/19/10, and we didnt want to come back!!! We stayed in this condo from 24/09/09 thru 10/01/09. This has been one of the best vacations ever! we had a wonderful time, the location couldn't be better. We had had in Cancun, but this was the first time in Isla Mujeres. the condo is beautiful!! Every morning we had our breakfast with a wonderful sight to the beach, and the fabulous rooftop terrace for the sunsets... Very friendly staff and water activities are right on the property. There is a restaurantat at the hotel perfect for lunch, snacks and beverages. Margaritas are delicious! We spent one day touring the island in a motorcycle and we went to "garrafon" for snorkeling and visited the turtles and the ixchel temple. I highly recommend the penthouse #503 and 504. i have been coming to isla for 13 years, staying at a neighboring resort. i decided to splurge a little, as i watched the ixchel being built, i said i want to stay there. the condo was great, the roof top at night, staring at the stars, laying on the bed, listening to the stereo, very, very nice. fouton uncomfortable. english CNN would have been great. on a great beach, sunset grill is the best. ask for milo, and tell him "mr lemon drop" sent you. being able to charge to your room was a plus. guest services were very good, as was the maid service. AWESOME place overall.

We had a great stay at this condo. We have stayed at another unit in Ixchel and the bed in this one IS more comfortable. I know the point of going on vacation is to not cook but we had a diabetic with us so we cooked a lot during our weeks stay. More pans to cook with and a set of tongs would be helpful. Overall another great visit to Isla. Having all the Ipod hook ups was great. Getting to listen to our music was awesome. My in-laws watched movies every night on the TV's. Would stay here again! Thanks for a memorable stay!

We stayed in unit #501 with another couple July 4th weekend and loved it. Great unit and incredible views. We also loved the poolside bar, pool, and beach. Third stay on IM and will definitely be going back.
