Wet a line from your back deck! This trout angler's paradise, located on the banks of famous Fightingtown Creek, has all the comforts of home. They don't build 'em this close to the water anymore!
Sleeping up to 6 people on queen beds.This 2 bedroom/1 bath cabin has a large sleeping loft, with 2 queen beds, overlooking the spacious living room with cathedral ceiling & woodburning fireplace. Master Bedroom has a queen bed, as well. A large upper deck w/gas grill, porch swing,rocking chairs, dining table with umbrella, and HOT TUB!!! Also, enjoy the splendor of the creek from the lower level deck that extends out over the trout stream!! DISH Satellite TV/DVD/VCR, central heat & air, Hot Tub, Washer & Dryer, pet friendly (Dogs ONLY, max 2 small dogs)

Relax in the jetted hot tub while overlooking a private view of the clear rambling stream, rhododendrons, mountain laurel & open sky. No cabins across stream!! VERY PRIVATE! Not a hot tub person? Sit back in rocking chairs or swing while listening to the rushing water over the mountain rocks.
This cozy retreat comes with a 2 story woodburning stone fireplace.
This is a true log cabin, tastefully decorated, with all amenities. Open dining area. Kitchen has breakfast bar with 2 barstools. Kitchen is fully furnished, even for the gourmet cook! Don't enjoy cooking? Catering is available either delivered to the door, or cooked at the cabin. Lots of restaurants nearby.
Many recreational activities year round include: white water rafting (all levels),float (tubing) the Toccoa river, fishing, boating on Lake Blue Ridge (approximately 4 miles-boat rentals available), antique shopping, Scenic Railway Rides (3 miles-Downtown Blue Ridge), horse back riding, biking, hiking, golf and more!

My three sisters and I stayed in this cabin over the long weekend. The sounds of the creek and the beautiful surrounding were so soothing. We decided this year to take a cabin by the creek instead of a mountain view and we did not regret it one bit. We had great weather and spent many hours on the porch reading and catching up. Thank you Julie and Danny for sharing your cabin with us. It was very comfortable and welcoming. You were great to work with and all our needs and expectations were met. Thank you for a great weekend......and it's always 5 o'clock there!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Me and my husband are 27 years old and were looking for a nice relaxing get away for a week! We without a doubt found it! :) This cabin was so amazing! We loved how private it was without feeling like I was so far away I was scared lol. We have always stayed up in the mountains when visiting but this was such an amazing experience being right on the water! It was the most relaxing and beautiful stay we have ever had! It was a little warmer outside when we went so we actually enjoyed swimming in the water and my husband did a little fishing. The surrounding area was beautiful and we went hiking and canoeing alot which we really enjoyed. If you are looking for a beautiful and peaceful place dont look any farther! Stay in this cabin! You will love it! :) We loved the town as well as the cabin and our experience with the owner was perfect too! Thank you so much for sharing your little slice of heaven with us we really enjoyed ourselves and will definately be back soon! :)Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

Julie Thank you so much for sharing such a special spot in the world with us. I have rented other mountain cabins in the surrounding area, but your place does not even compare, truly in a league all its own. We were both in need of a relaxing, quiet weekend away from the city and your cabin was ideal. The moment we arrived we were both drawn to the porch and instantly fell in love with the tranquil surroundings. Countless hours were spent relaxing on the porch swing and rocking chairs just staring out into the gorgeous nature that surrounds the property. We were able to get two great mountain biking rides in, on Saturday rode Flat Creek Trail of Aska Rd, and Sunday got really muddy in Cohutta National Forest. We had an absolute blast. But most of all we had time to really enjoy each other and being together. We will definitely be back!!! Thank you again!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

Julie - sorry it's taken so long to write this review. We had a wonderful, relaxing week at the cabin. We felt like no one else in the world knew just where we were. I had surgery to remove a benign brain tumor in August (and am doing great, by the way). My husband had no vacation this summer except to sit by my bedside in the hospital for six days, so this trip was all about him. The creek and the woods are so beautiful. It was just a few minutes drive to activities when we wanted to get out, but mostly we just wanted to stay at the cabin and relax to the sounds of the creek and the leaves falling. The rain made it even more peaceful and serene - it was surreal. Thanks so much for always being so accessible and responsible - nothing wrong at the cabin - just me and 20 questions - LOL! Thanks again for sharing your place with us!Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

This was one of the best vacations we had in a long time. The cabin is a fisherman's dream and the stream is clear and awesome. Plenty of things to do in the vicinity, we went whitewater rafting on the Oconee.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Thrid time back! Once again our week of R & R was great! Driving tour #2 & #3 were wonderful--next year we will try #2 at night--the view was unbelieveable! I want to thank you for sharing your cabin with my great friends. We were blessed to visit with them during their stay. It was so peaceful and comfortable. Just feels like home. I pray people continue to take the time to get away and visit yalls cabin. What a setting it is just to reflect on how good Jesus Chris is and to admire his creation. We enjoyed staying here and celebrating our 14th anniversary! We were here last year, also. Our golden had so much fun in the river!
