Chain Lake is located in Chippewa County, Wisconsin, in the small village of New Auburn. Chain Lake is the first in a chain of three other lakes -- Clear, McCann, and Island, with 1,200 acres of water that stretches over seven miles.
This home offers one of the most spectacular views available. Upon entering the front porch of the home, you will be greeted by a fabulous view with a 180 degree expanse of the lake, and only thirty-five feet off the shore. To enjoy the sunrise or the moon reflecting before you from this room is both awesome and memorable.
This property offers one of the very few beaches available on the lake. It's great for kids -- they can play in the sandpile and splash around in the shallows.
Our lakes offer excellent fishing -- Northern Pike, Musky, Walleye, Large and Smallmouth Bass, and great pan fish as well (sun fish, crappie, and bluegill).
Enjoy the call of the loons, gaze at the spectacular eagles, cranes, geese, and ducks that grace our lakes and skies.
This wonderful place is located in the Blue Diamond vacation area in the heart of Indianhead Country.
Come and enjoy endless relaxation, and the peacefulness that nature provides.

We fished right from the dock and caught good size Northern and large mouth bass--good eating and several smaller fish --the catch and release type. We had fun with the kayaks, letting the wind blow us 'home' several times. Our favorite room was the porch where we spent most of our indoor time listening to the waves, playing games or reading.

A great old lake home right on the shoeline of a very nice chain of lakes. Good fishing within sight of the house... even in late August. We caught very nice crappie, perch, northern, and large mouth bass every day. The house and property have spectacular views and are beautifully maintained. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for a spacious house, private beach, clear clean water, and excellent fishing you are in luck! When our family (ages 3, 7, and 12) weren't outdoors ejoying the beach and water we found ourselves drawn to the huge lake front room with a panoramic view of the lake. Kathy and Mike were great hosts and made us feel right at home. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing get away. The Noll's

Great Reunion House

Our family rented Breezy Acres for an early summer reunion and it was a hit from the kids right up to my ninety two year old uncle. There were at least three separate areas for small groups to convene, a great place to stage food just inside the back door and a very user friendly kitchen. And almost everywhere you sat the views of the lake were breathtaking. We swam and boated and barbecued and were very sorry when our week was up. The cleanliness and quiet of the house teamed with Kathy's attention to detail (a gift basket, volunteering to take our group photo, the loan of her kayaks and canoes) made this a place we want to rent again next year.

End of August 2009 What a great location - perfect for a few families to gather and enjoy. The house was full of all the charm and character one could hope for. The kids played in the sand, fished off the docks, and it was great to have our boat right there out front! The call of the loons, the washing of the waves, the lovely peace and quiet were just what we all needed. A relaxed vacation, a generous thoughtful hostess, and a wonderful location. The perfect way to end the summer! Thanks, Kathy" The Nekurak's (Virginia USA), The Pritchard's (Calgary, Canada), and the Sookram's (Manitoba, Canada)

My family had the best time staying at the Higgin's cabin. The sandy beach area was WONDERFUL for my 3 year old son and 7 month old daughter to swim in and my son also loved playing on the swing set! The gazebo was a great place to enjoy all our meals and we loved fishing, canoeing, having campfires, relaxing in the hammock, and just spending time in the beautiful home! Kathy had even given us a gift basket with things that were very age appropriate for my children and also some treats for the adults to enjoy! Everything was clean, comfortable, and just seemed perfect. We also enjoyed the maps and information of the area for resturants and other things to do nearby. We can't wait until next summer! I very highly recommend Breezy Acres as a family getaway vacation spot. We spent a week there with our two grown children, their spouses, and 4 grandchildren. The house was comfortable and quiet, the neighbors not noticeable at all. The lake was extremely clean. Our grandchildren all fished, caught crayfish, swam, and played in the sand for hours on end;there are also a set of swings and a slide which they used a lot. They gazebo allowed for outside eating in comfort if there was rain, and we had several bonfires down by the lake. We also had some delightful canoeing ;my favorite place was there nearby wetland area, where we saw great blue herons, turtles, frogs, kingbirds, and bald eagles. One aspect we greatly enjoyed was the loons which seemed to be everywhere;once we had eight loons putting on a display of chasing, calling , and frolicking right in front of the pier.If you want a getaway where you can fish, swim, canoe, and just hang out with family and friends, I highly recommend Breezy Acres.
