Captain's Bay is conveniently located. Walk across the street, to the widest part of the beach, to take in the tranquil waters of the Gulf of Mexico, and meander over the seven miles of white sugar sand. Chair and umbrella rentals are available for rental on the beach. Prepare yourself for an invitingly slow pace of Florida island living. Watch the amazing sunsets on the beach, while remembering the many different places you have been in your life that bring you happiness and rejuvenation.
Ride the bikes to explore the island, or catch the trolley, right in front of the building, into Times Square or Bonita Springs for a quarter a ride. Want to go out to eat, catch a movie, or buy a toothbrush? There is no reason to get into a car. All of this is within walking distance to Captain's Bay. Leave the stresses of commuting behind.
Captain's Bay has a large, in-ground, heated pool for your use. There are also two private tennis courts, shuffleboard, and an outdoor grill for your enjoyment. Stay in shape with the morning water aerobics in the pool or unwind poolside in one of the many loungers, and feel the warmth of the Florida sun on your skin.
Description of Unit 203:
The living room is open and airy with triple slider doors that open to the back lanai, which overlooks the mangrove preserve. Watch the many different variety of birds that visit daily. It also has a full-size sofa that converts to a queen sleeper and a loveseat. Feel at home while you watch Cable TV or choose from one of our videos or books provided. Enjoy some relaxing music on our stereo with CD player.
The fully equipped, modern kitchen has every amenity you could possibly want or need for home cooking and dining. With the open concept of the floor plan, you can cook, while interacting with our family and friends. If you prefer grilling, Captain's Bay offers a common grill area for our guests.
The breakfast bar allows you to set up your laptop and connect to the free high speed, cable internet. Need to make long distance calls home? No problem. This property offers free local and domestic long distance unlimited calls.
There are many choices as to where to dine. Use the dinette table in the kitchen or the lovely dining room table right next to the living room in a bright window alcove. Do you like eating outdoors? Use the table on the back lanai. The choices are never ending.
The master suite is spacious and luxurious with slider doors to the back lanai. Rest peacefully on the richly appointed, queen-size bed. Catch a late night movie on your in-room TV, or listen to the sounds of the wildlife in the mangroves from your windows and balcony. Wake to your large en-suite bathroom, with his and her sinks, a generous walk-in closet, and separate toilet and shower area.
The second bedroom, which is located on the front side of the building, contains two twin beds, which can be converted to a king, an in-room TV, Nintendo game station, and adjoining full bathroom with tub and shower combination. Perfect for privacy.
You must do laundry, even on vacation! No problem. There is a full size laundry room next to the kitchen.
