We stayed here for 9 days in October. We were three adults with a 1 year old. The unit and property were perfect for us. As the pictures show, everything is remodeled and in excellent shape. The property staff is very friendly and helpful. We booked a couple of activities through the front desk. Safeway is right across the street which was super convenient. The best part, for us, was the closet with the beach toys, coolers and high chair! Our daughter loved the pool and slides. The condo's location is good for exploring both sides of the island and we even did a little hike (Kuilau Trail) close by. I'd definitely recommend going south to see Waimea Canyon and North to hike a bit of the Kalalau Trail. If you can, definitely go up to Hanakapi'ai Falls. That was a highlight for us.

A very welcoming and wonderful stay at Waipouli on Kauai

My family stayed at Waipouli last summer for the first time on Kauai. It was a very short planned trip, but a trip that has stayed with us all year. My daughter, two grandchildren and my 19 year old were with us. My husband and I couldn't have been more pleased with the condo and location. It is a piece of heaven along with Kauai. Womnderful property with an ocean view and ocean breezes. We enjoyed every minute of every day. The kitchen was well equipped. It made it easy to cook. The bedrooms are large and with separate bathrooms as well. The condo made you feel like you were at home. The location was fabulous. Sort of midway between the most northern and southern attractions. We enjoyed the pools at Waipouli, surfing, restaurants, and the Hawaian hospitality. Many stores ie Starbucks, Safeway and others are right across the street. We loved the Olympic cafe, it offers something for everyone. Hanalei Bay is a must!! Brief rain showers were refreshing. We hope to return this summer. Priscilla was very helpful, prompt and courteous. I would recommend it to anyone of any age. A piece of paradise across the Pacific! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay in this lovely condo. Our wedding party rented three units and we liked ours the best. The top floor location is great and more private. The owner responded to all communications very promptly and completely. This property is by far the best in this area which is located to easily reach all parts of the island. The landscaping is gorgeous and the crew works on it continually. Our nine year old grand daughter loved the pool and waterslides. Not sure when we can return but would love to stay here again. Excellent value which we highly recommend!

My family and I (2 children ages 6 and 10) recently stayed in suite F403. This unit could not have been more perfect for our family adventure. Having been to Kauai previously we wanted to enjoy the North and South coasts. This unit is very close to being in the middle. The unit is well furnished, very comfortable and quiet. The pool and grounds were perfect for the kids. We spent most mornings having breakfast on the Lanai with the kids making up stories about the sleeping giant in the background. Then it was off to the pool for a few hours before embarking on our days adventure. The complex is very close to shopping and restaurants. Our favorite was the new Tiki Taco in Waipouli Center. The grounds and facilities are well managed and very clean. The pool was a new adventure everyday. We were surprised to find the closet with beach toys, boogie boards and a vehicle booster seat. Thanks again for a great stay!

Best Place on Kauai

We have stayed at this resort on 4 occasions and at this unit in particular each of the past 2 years. In the past we have also stayed on the southside. This resort is the best location, the most convenient to activities (Kayak, Hiking, Biking), close to the best beaches, as well as close to dining and groceries. Priscilla could not be easier to work with…she is professional, accommodating, and eager to pass on her island expertise. Mahalo Priscilla

We recently stayed at this unit during our honeymoon and found the unit to be exactly as described. In particular we were really surprised at the amount of room in the unit. The resort is brand new and has a great location. There are multiple grocery stores and restaurants nearby which were very convenient. Most importantly we found Priscilla to be very helpful and professional. We even received our security deposit in the mail the day we returned home! Overall this is a no brainier great unit, perfect location and professionally managed. Simply book and enjoy!

It was just right. From the moment you walk onto the property, every thing is just right. There is ample parking. The condo is beautiful and clean. The pool is gorgeous, The staff at the pool is very helpful and pool towels are available. The furnishings in the condo are beautiful, and there are included extras that make the stay even more comfortable. Lots of extra fluffy towels, sheets, and even pump soap in the bathroom areas. The kitchen is beautifully furnished and includes all the expected amenities and some extras, like salt and pepper and cookie sheets. The condo is quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed a couple of new sites on the island. Common Ground Restaurant was wonderful and we enjoyed touring their sustainable gardens. We spent a wonderful morning at the new Kauai Golf miniature golf center. Not only was it fun, it was a bit educational with a hole by hole history of the islands. The owner communications are quick and very accommodating. We will be back.

Returned today from a simply wonderful Kauai vacation. First, having stayed at other locations on this island, in our mind the East Coast is simply the best. Many staying on the South Coast typically miss 2 of the island gems: Hanalei and NaPali hiking. Additionally, the beaches that are easily accessible from the east side are fantastic. We loved the bike/running trail and convenient shopping as well. As far as this unit and this resort, It would be hard to find a better value. The entire resort has been very well maintained. This beach is beautiful and quiet and created many a spectacular sunrise. This unit is superior in every way; from the quality construction and features (granite countertops, solid mahogany doors) to the top of the line appliances, this is certainly a special place. The condo is well equipped with everything you need for your home away from home. We look forward to our return.

AMAZING FAMILY HOLIDAY!

We ( My husband and I and our three kids, 25, 21 and 19 ) recently had the pleasure of spending two weeks over Christmas at this beautiful condo. It had everything we wanted and needed and more. The condo was spotlessly clean as was the whole resort. We had absolutely nothing but a wonderful holiday. Priscilla was very helpful with all our questions and returned our security deposit promptly - she even was kind enough to mail back something we left accidently in the condo :) We spent about half our time at the pool, which we loved, was never too crowded and a cool design. The other days we adventured. We snorkeled at many beaches, Akini probably being the easiest to get into with out coral scratches! but we loved them all. We went tubing with Kauai Adventure at the old sugar plantation, and had a blast, Also we kayaked and then and hiked to the Secret Falls waterfall which unfortunately was a little muddy as we had a couple of days of rain prior. My husband and kids also had a great day scuba diving with SeaSport Diving while I lounged back at the pool ! We ate in about 1/2 the time having shopped at Costco the first day, and at restaurants the rest. Bobby V's right behind the resort is a tiny little place, but boy was their pasta good. Kounty Kitchen had awesome breakfasts. Weather was usually in the low 80's and we had 2 days of rain, but even that didn't last for long. I could go on and on, we loved Kauai and this was the perfect condo and location for us. We made family memories that will last a lifetime. Thanks again Priscilla!

My husband and I stayed here in September, for 6 days, and we had a great time! The condo was beautiful, just as the pictures had shown. I wasn't too sure how a "condo" would turn out since this was our first time to stay in one. We have always stayed in hotels or suites. I was also concerned at first with the $300 deposit paid upfront. However, when we got there.. all my concerns disappeared because the place was very nice and close to everything. I would compare Priscilla's condo to a Marriott or Doubletree or any of the Hilton Honors locations. It's clean, in a nice location, and central to everything in Kauai. It has central A/C, but we hardly used it at all, because there is a nice breeze from the lanai. As already mentioned, there is a shopping center across the street, which is very convenient. We had the best dining experience across the street, at Pau Hana Bar & Grill... home of Tony's Fish & Chips, which is to die for!! Mahalo, Priscilla and Harold, for letting us rent your place. BTW, the $300 deposit was promptly returned to us in no time. We will be back for sure!!

Great property on Kauai

This was our kids first trip to Kauai and this property was a great choice. Our kids loved the pool with the slide, and the central location was helpful in getting around. Amenities were of high quality, and check-in could not have been easier. Washer/dryer in the unit was a must with our kids, and we took advantage of that situation. We at at Oasis on the property for two nights and it was truly a hidden Gem. Although the menu was limited and wine was by the glass, we loved both meals (one with, one without kids). Starbucks and Safeway are across the street, which made Paradise a bit more civilized. The property owner was a joy to deal with, and everything was as promised. We highly recommend this condo.

is is a wonderful condo unit! We stayed here from 4/10 to 4/22 and thought this was the perfect place to stay. The location on the east side of the island is ideally centralized for short drives to the north, south and west sides. Having the Safeway and Foodland right across the street was so convenient—we had fresh fruit every morning for breakfast on the lanai! Since we were in Kauai for 12 days, we took an “every other day” approach to exploring the island and relaxing at the resort, so we spent about one-half of our time at the condo and resort. Everyone we dealt with at the resort was so friendly and helpful! The pool area is lovely, and has an area for the “kiddies” on one side, which makes for a more quiet area for adults on the other side. Beach access is easy, although not swimmable right in front of the resort. The condo unit itself is like new ---it is very comfortable, extremely spacious, CLEAN, and the beds are so comfortable. Priscilla is quick to respond to questions and is very accommodating. Overall, this was a 5 Star experience!

My husband, myself, our daughter, our son and his girlfriend stayed in this condo for 5 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. The location was very convenient. We explored the island during the day either heading north to Princeville or to the South it was never too long of a drive. Having the shopping plaza across the street made it easy to get groceries for our breakfast and lunches which we packed and took with us on our adventures. We always enjoyed returning to the condo after a day of exploring and spending time at the pool and hot tubs. We took advantage of the bbq grills located at the pool area a couple of times for making dinners. It was very nice to sit out on the balcony with some wine and family enjoying our dinner. The condo was very spacious. My son and his girlfriend had their own room and bathroom and my daughter slept on the pull out sofa. She also had the half bath off the entrance. It fit the 5 adults without feeling cramped. There were plenty of towels. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cooking utensils, and all the appliances were high end. It was nice to have the washer and dryer as we had all been traveling prior to spending time in Kauai. The landscaping was well maintained. There was also a large Koi pond. Priscilla was very helpful and accommodating. The condo was not being rented out on our departure date and we requested and were granted a later check out. We really enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again in the future.

This is a great place to stay. The property and the unit are both very well maintained and very comfortable. The best features of the property are the pool and ocean-side location; best features of the unit are the spacious kitchen and the gear supplied by the owner (snorkels, boogie-boards, portable baby crib, cooler). We had a great time.

To begin with, Priscilla is wonderful! She took care of everything we needed; the condo was exactly as described and pictured. The grounds are immaculate, with the pools/spas crystal clear - how do they do that - no chemicals that you could smell. Priscilla’s condo is without a doubt one of the nicer condos at the resort. The furnishings are beautiful and well kept, unlike some condos we saw and the appearance is ‘brand new’. She also has a safe for your valuables and the washer and dryer are an added plus. For the first time I didn’t have to come home from our vacation and do loads of laundry. It was wonderful. As for the towels, there are plenty under both bathroom sinks and blow dryers. Not all of the condos have these added features. So be careful when viewing each of them before selecting. Our family consisted of my husband and two daughters 15, 19. They loved having their own bathroom and bedroom, and I definitely enjoyed it. The rooms are so quiet, solid wood doors that really block the sound from one room to the next, as well as, I never heard the roosters, unless the outer doors were open. It was a nice touch; after all, it is Rooster Island. After touring the island from one end to the other, this is the only resort that is conveniently located within walking distance to grocery/drug store/ and so many other stores. We have traveled extensively and by far this was our favorite vacation and the nicest condo/resort we have ever stayed at. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. We will absolutely stay here again and if you want a guaranteed wonderful vacation you will too!

We had the best vacation ever. This unit was clean and very comfortable, evrything was in the kitchen that we could possiby need. The grounds were well maintained and clean and beautiful. The pool and the hot tubs were clean and refreshing. The owner was very easy too contact and helpful. We traveled both north and south around the island and felt we picked the perfect place to stay. The grocery store across the street was very convenient and we enjoyed the local pizza place.Thank you so much and perhaps we will be able to return in a few years.

My family and I stayed in this beautiful condo for 5 terrific days in August. The pictures do not do the condo or the property justice. Everything about this place is top notch. To list just a few: the staff are friendly, the facilities really clean, the condo has high end appliances making meals easy to cook/clean and the ocean front bar had live music every night. My kids ages 13/10/6 had a great time in the pool with the slides and the ocean was only steps from the property. The owner was always very prompt in responding to my questions and made the process of renting the condo an ease. The location was perfect for many reasons. 35 minutes from Poipu Beach, 25 minutes from Princeville and 10 minutes to Lihue. We felt the condo is in a "quiet" area of the island but it was very easy to get to all the activities the family wanted to do in the towns listed above. We thought this aspect was great! If (when) we return, we will look to rent this condo again.

The condo was terrific! Outstanding decor and very high class. The beds were comfy and all the amenities were just great. The owners are terrific to work with and I had a very pleasant experience working with them. I highly recommend this condo to anyone staying in Kauai. It is first class all the way. A huge, well appointed condo with pride of ownership in all aspects of the unit. The two rooms are huge. And 'yes,' there are 3 bathrooms, two bath tubs, two shower stalls, and three toilets. The living area is well furnished and comfortable; open the windows and enjoy a great breeze. When needed, the ac worked flawlessly (we know when an ac unit does not work in hot weather....Las Vegas on the Fourth of July!!!!). The kitchen is great. We were on a budget this time around and my wife was a great trooper. We ate in our condo for every meal except two during our ten day stay! The location is fantastic because the necessities can be taken care of right across the street at Safeway, Longs Drugs, or Foodland. And, traveling with two sons (age 9 & 7), we ran into a lot of moments where the location was ideal. As for the pool and water slide, it was absolutley perfect for this family of four. The owners were great. They responded promptly and professionally to each one of my many emails. We felt secure with the transaction from beginning to end. My wife loves Kauai and we will definitely return to this resort and this unit in particular. I strongly recommend this unit, this resort, and these owners more. Also, I am confident that the nightly rate for this fantastic unit is the absolute bargain in all of Kauai and probably all of the islands in Hawaii, which makes this great bargain an absolute steal! Thanks for a much needed and appreciated vacation!

When we were planning our trip to Hawaii I asked a friend where he stayed and his experience. I was told that the Waipouli Beach Resort was the place to go and he is right. My experiance with the owners of this condominium and the resort in general has been nothing but positive. Both parties gave me excellent service. The resort's central location was great! Many of the things I wanted to do or purchase are within easy walking distance. I would use this service and recommend this listing to others.

The location was perfect for visiting all of Kauai's beautiful areas--it was equally close to the North & South shore attractions. It was wonderful to come back to such luxurious accomodations after a day of adventure on the island! We loved it!

Convenience and luxury are the words to describe this beautiful condo. The interior furnishings and appliances were absolutely delightful and very comfortable. I would love to come back again and am recommending this unit to any of my friends that are Kauai bound!

Wow...What a condo and what a resort. We stayed 11 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday and had our best time ever on Kauai. The condo was superior to all other condo's we've stayed in and this is our 6th time to Kauai. We would highly recommend this resort, especially if you're traveling with kids. You won't be able to find a more luxuriously appointed vacation home than this one. We had a fabulous time; the central location in East Kauai was perfect for travelling around the island. Our trips to Waimea Canyon and to Princeville and Hanalei Bay were each less than 45 minutes. The Safeway, as well as a few good restaurants, directly across the street was very convenient. While staying at Waipouli Beach resort from July 30 - August 6, on 4 of the 7 days, we had resting Hawaiian monk seals sleeping on the beach directly in front of the resort. On the first day we had 2 seals, and everyday after that we had to check if any seals were on the beach. Our only regret was finding Kealia Beach (our top rated beach of the vacation), only a 5 minute drive from the condo, on the last day. My teenage son and daughter really enjoyed the waves. The surf was very reminiscent of our South Jersey beaches but we could be neck high and see our feet. When not swimming, we enjoyed just sitting there watching the surfers and paddle surfers. We went to the Kilauea Lighthouse, Anahola Beach and Poipu Beach, short drives from the condo, as well as Haena Beach Park and Tunnels Beach in North Kauai. Queens Bath was worth the hike and a catamaran snorkeling trip of the Napali Coast completed our perfect vacation! We highly recommend this condo to anyone who wants to go to Kauai and make memories that will last a lifetime. Barbara, Williamstown, NJ

My wife and I along with another couple stayed in this unit for six nights in May. It is all that is advertised. Waipouli is a luxury complex and this unit is a luxury unit. Everything is first class. The pool area is outstanding. It is close to many restaurants and there is a Safeway Grocery Store accross the street. Highly recommended. Hope we can stay there again in a year or two.

We stayed in this unit April 10th and 11th, 2008. We should have signed up for a week. The unit is appointed with the top of the line appliances with plenty of room. Huge bathrooms, comfortable beds,and the resort has a bar with ocean view for drinks and food,good beach,great pools and a very accommodating staff. We were very impressed and my brother who lives on Maui went on and on about how nice the condo was.

This is the nicest condo in Hawaii we have stayed at & we've been to Hawaii 8 times. The beds were very comfortable, and we loved the huge bathrooms & beautiful kitchen. Make sure to take the tubing tour! Mahalo!

We had an amazing time. Your unit is absolutely beautiful. The furnishings were extremely comfortable. We loved the mountain views. It was a perfect way to spend Thanksgiving. The hotel was not too full. We met several friends for our daughter to play with, but at night, it was very quiet.
