We chose to buy a vacation rental in this area because of the awesome location, it is close to the the beach, close to the resturants, close to the stores, it is basically the best location and the best value in tamarindo.

fantastic pool, some ocean views, huge space with 2 balconies, gated and secure parking, and location is awesome. Surf break is just a 5 min walk. owners will rent surfboards. full kitchen and great value

Our very first visit to Costa Rica was in the year 2000. This is where my husband and I say we "fell in love". Not only did we fall in love with each other, but we also fell in love with the country. Throughout our exploration of the country, we finally decided that we truly enjoyed the Tamarindo and Playa Langosta area due to the incredible combination of sportfishing, surfing, beautiful beaches and sunsets, restaurants and many of the conveniences we are accustomed to in the USA. We have watched Tamarindo and Playa Langosta thrive and develop over the past few years, and continue to love the area. My husband's brother (William) is currently living in Playa Langosta and managing our vacation rentals. He is wonderful at welcoming our guests and handling any situations that arise. Our stay was absolutely fantastic (we stayed January 17 to February 10/11). We are a family with one daughter. We stayed at La Cometa del Pacifico condo and the owner, William, was very helpful. The unit was spotless upon our arrival and very welcoming. The condo was great, it was clean and large. It was nice to have the bedrooms on another floor. The location was great – we only had to walk 2 blocks to the beach. Our daughter (5 years old) took surf lessons, as we watched from the beach. The pool was heated, so it was a nice treat. All and all we had a great time and look forward to returning again. Thank you William and Elli, the owners – it was great. Kim and Sean, North Vancouver, BC, Canada
