Several years ago my husband, Stan, and I fell in love with this beautiful island. After scouting so many buildings, we finally decided that the Fairway Villa was the only place we wanted to stay when we returned to the island. [Our realtor claims that we saw every apartment building in Waikiki TWICE--AT LEAST before we made our selection.] We offer a secure, relaxing environment in a high rise ideally located in the very heart of Waikiki. It is a very easy 3 minute walk to the beach.

We now own two studios in this building and both were updated in May, 2007 with paint--including the ceiling [I hate dirty ceilings], new floor coverings, new queen size beds with top of the line mattress, towels, linens, pots and pans, most furnishings, pictures, and small appliances.

VIEW: I like to start with the view because it is the reason that we own this particular studio and are located in this building. Our lanai offers views of Diamond Head, the mountains, the city, the golf course, and the ocean. From the spacious 29th floor recreation deck, there are 360 degree unobstructed views of Waikiki, including Diamond Head, the adjacent mountains, the Honolulu skyline, and the ocean.

RECREATION DECK: You can watch the magnificent sunrises and sunsets and the weekly fireworks; you can swim in the invigorating pool, relax in the hot tub and sauna, sunbathe, lounge in the many shaded areas, or cook on large barbecue gas grills. If you like quiet, this is the place for you since the management requests that you use earphones for music on the recreation deck!

ATTRACTIVE APARTMENT: Our apartment is tastefully decorated and comes with a full bath /shower, and a large lanai. You will enjoy the large TV with VCR/DVD player, AND HIGH SPEED INTERNET. There is a WASHER/DRYER IN THE UNIT. You no longer have to stand around in a laundry room while on vacation.

We have a COMPLETE KITCHEN including a full-size refrigerator, four-burner stove/oven, a microwave, toaster, rice cooker, baking pans, blender, crock pot, and full cookware---everything you need for an extended stay. We have stayed in each of our units for 6 months at a time. This is a non-smoking condo.

LOCATION: You will be in the very heart of Waikiki where EVERYTHING IS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE: the emerald beach, an expansive golf course, a kaleidoscope of surfers by day and street entertainers at night; economical or exclusive shopping areas--from the hurly burly market place to the most upscale boutiques; lush gardens of the most luxurious five star hotels; a well-equipped 24-hour fitness center, and a teeming variety of restaurants.

You can stroll along the Ala Wai canal, walk to the golf course, visit the child-friendly zoo and the hands-on aquarium; or if you want a little less stimulation, you can burrow in at the public library. And for your convenience, the LARGEST COMPLETE GROCERY STORE LOCATED IN THE HEART OF WAIKIKI IS ONLY A BLOCK AWAY.

By staying at the Fairway Villa, you are so close to so much that you might want to forgo the expense of renting a car. But if you decide to get a car, we offer A COVERED SECURE PARKING GARAGE.

Purchased within the past year, our condos are inspected monthly and have an extensive yearly review. They are occupied part of the year by the owners and we take great pride in having top quality units. We have painted and updated with new flooring, new furniture, and appliances. These condos are in top condition.

CLEAN? Clean seems to involve a judgment. Over the years I have learned that my clean and my neighbor's clean are different things. Obviously my clean and my children's clean are different----but my clean and my husband's clean are also different things. But spotless is an absolute. In our condo YOU are the judge. We leave the cleaning check list that we gave our cleaning staff inside the condo for our guests with a message: "This is the checklist that we left for our cleaning staff. We will call you shortly after your arrival to see if YOU are satisfied. We do not pay our cleaning staff until our condo meets your expectations!" Pretty simple concept!

  • Well where do we begin! The condo was immaculate and I am a clean freak, for once I met my match for clean! WOW! We were very fortunate to meet Stanley & Marie and even shared dinner with them, by the time we left I felt as if we had known them forever, what a GREAT couple! I give them both 5 STARS! The decor also was very nice, the bed was very comfortable, AGAIN 5 STARS! THANK YOU! Have a Great Thanksgiving!

  • Beautiful condo, with an amazing view. We had such a wonderful time and were a couple minutes walking distance from the beach. Absolutely perfect location for just about anything that we wanted to do. I love that everything that we needed for the beach was already stocked at the condo and oooohhh the view of the sunset from the roof was spectacular. Loved it and you will you!

  • This is with out a doubt, the best kept secret in Hawaii. Everything was perfect from the start. Marie and Stan responded quickly and were wonderful. the security guards were very friendly and helpful, the elevators (3), worked great and were quick, the condo was exactly as pictured, the bed sleeps great, everthing worked just as it should, the views from the lani are unbelievable, the roof top pool, sauna, hot tub and grills were a wonderful bonus. If we are ever able to return to Hawaii we will definetly be contacting Stan and Marie. If you are reading this and chose to pass this one up you are making a huge mistake. I lived in Hawaii 30 years ago and many family members came to visit, of all the places I put them up at, none came close to what is available here. You will not be disapointed.

  • My wife and I recently returned form three wonderful weeks at Marie and Stan's lovely Sunrise condo. It was everything it was advertised to be and more! The unit is so spacious for a couple when compared to a typical hotel room. The place was spotless and so well equipped. We took full advantage of the pool and gas grills on the 29th floor; many times we were the only ones using the facilities. The views of the ocean, Diamond Head, the golf course, and the canal were spectacular from there as well as from the lanai. Marie and Stan's hospitality is outstanding. We strongly recommend this condo and are already planning our return.

  • From the first e-mail to Marie, I was amazed at how friendly, open, polite, and prompt she was answering my questions. Immediately she directed me to her website. We received written confirmation of our deposit, and even a billing invoice!! Days later the same information arrived via regular mail also. I figured this was all a pretty good sign, but I still was not prepared for how tastefully decorated and well supplied this condo was when we arrived! Everything was new, and it is spotless from the light switches to the windows. Marie even called the morning after our arrival to be sure that we were pleased with everything before she paid her cleaning staff!! Located on the 22nd floor, the sunrise condo has a wonderful view of Diamond Head. Marie had included a starter size container of laundry detergent, a full bar of soap, starter coffee, spices in the cupboard, beach chairs, a boogie board, beach towels, blender, and even an umbrella in case of rain. The Fairway Villa had just finished upgrading the hallways with new stucco walls, new lighting and crown molding. It looked very fresh and clean. The security personnel was friendly, the roof top is quiet and has wonderful views of the city, and we especially like having a washer/dryer in our condo, a full stove, and free parking. I'd highly recommend this condo.

  • We enjoyed our 2 week stay in Stan and Marie's condo.The unit is very nicely decorated and it has everything you need for your stay..It was very clean which is very important to me..It's in an ideal location..If we go back to Hawaii I would like to stay in their unit again..

  • We really enjoyed spending a month in the condo especially sitting on the balcony with great views in both directions. It is so convenient with a well stocked grocery across the street and such an easy walk to all the great restaurants and beaches of Waikiki. The condo is well stocked with all the necessities and very comfortable. The roof-top pool is great and the view is even better. It was also a great perk to have the free parking space.
