Only one block to the beach and yet right in the center of the historic district, the Abigail Adams' Apartments offer charming, family friendly accommodations at reasonable prices.
The two delightful apartments are located in the historic James Leaming House, one of Cape May's most whimsical Victorian gingerbread houses. They are furnished in bright and breezy colors with new kitchens and baths, are air conditioned, have cable TV and DVD and wireless access.
The Garden Apartment on the first floor has one large, sunny bedroom with a queen bed, a living room in soft shades of gold and blue with a double sofabed , and a new, open plan galley kitchen and a bath with shower. At the back there is a large, shady garden in which to enjoy lazy summer days and cool quiet evenings.
The Leaming Suite on the second floor has one bedroom/living room with a queen bed and a double sofabed, a beautifully restored tiled bath, and a cozy eat-in kitchen.
You can grab a beach chair and a good book and a short walk down Decatur Street will take you to the nicest beaches in town. After a full day at the beach you can enjoy a wonderful meal at one of our many fine Cape May restaurants or throw some steaks on the BBQ and chill out in the comfort of your own garden hideaway.
Park your car in our convenient lot and then everything is within easy walking distance. Bring your bicycles or rent one and take a ride out to our famous bird observatory at the Point or have lunch at Sunset Beach and watch the dolphins play in the surf.
You just couldn't pick a better location than Decatur Street if you want to be close to the beach but also surround yourself with the Victorian ambience of Cape May.
