Villa #10 was out little home away from home. We LOVED it!! We had everything we needed and Diane was great to work with and very prompt with responding to my emails and questions. The villa is larger than it appears in the pictures. Big closet in Master and the mattress was very comfortable. Having a garage to park in and put our sandy chairs in was a huge plus!! It was great to just get there and go in and not have to wait for elevator or have to get a cart. Everything was very clean, both inside and out. Just a few steps from the front pool and a short walk to the beautiful beach!!! We felt very at home in this villa and we have already booked it for next year. :). Within walking distance to market, Captain Curt's restaurant and short drive to Siesta Village.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: We are Indiana Hoosiers, and we love our beach home on Siesta Key. It is our escape from Carl's job as an owner/manager of a family hardware store, and Diane's job as a real estate agent. We have two children that enjoy the many recreational options in the area. Joey is a resident of Sarasota and works in construction. He is our "handyman". Jaynie is married to Mike and they have 2 children, Laynee and Nolan. Siesta Key is their escape from San Francisco. Our family and friends all love to visit our beach home!
Why the Owner Chose Crystal Sands:
The white powdery sand on Crescent Beach is the finest beach that we have ever seen. It has been our dream for many years to have a second home in Florida. Our Siesta Key villa became a reality for us in 1997 after we sold our Bed & Breakfast business in Northern Indiana Amish Country. It has been the most relaxing home and where we have made the most memories. We love for our guests to enjoy our home, and hope that they can make some wonderful memories there, as well.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa:
Crystal Sands has a pool adjacent to the office and a beach-front pool. The beach is delightful with beach chairs provided and cabanas available for rent. It is a great beach for walking, and you can walk for miles. The kids can go parasailing, and there are bikes for rent, as well as boats and jet skis. Myakka River State Park is nearby for canoeing and kayaking, hiking and fishing. Take a day and go to Busch Gardens in Tampa or visit Disney World, Universal Studios or Sea World in Orlando. St. Armands circle is a great place to visit for shopping and many restaurants from which to choose. The Farmer's Market is on Saturdays. There is so much to do in in Sarasota with a reputation of catering to the arts.
