Little Bear House -- faimly and pet friendly - Oregon Vacation Rental Relax in this affordable and comfortable family home that has everything you need for a great coastal getaway, including a a fenced backyard for your best friend. You will be staying less than a mile away from the beautiful beaches at Battlerock Park, so you can walk to the beach, restaurants, a great natural foods store, a beautifully refurbished 1930s movie theater, shopping, art galleries or our local library which offers computers with internet access. If you are not familiar with Port Orford, it is a very unique coastal community free of tourist crowds. Our community of 1200 features a mix of outdoor enthusiasts and artists, and has been described as "cheaper than Mendicino and edgier than Carmel" (San Francisco Chronicle Travel Section). Founded in 1851, Port Orford is the oldest platted townsite on the Oregon coast and the most westerly city in the continental U.S. You can access miles of uncrowded beaches and rivers and there is a lake in town with public access if you want to bring along a kayak or canoe. The port of Port Orford is the only natural, open water port for 600 miles and only one of six "dolly" ports in the world. Fishing boars can't be moored in the harbor due to it being unprotected from southerly winds, so the boats are hoisted in and out each day. This home has all new furnishing and linens. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is a washer and dryer for your convenience. The home also has four televisions (one in the living room and one in each bedroom).

$100/night .. $650/week, $50 cleaning fee.
2 night minimum. Rates do not include 7% lodging tax.
Additional $50 cleaning fee if you bring pets.
Rates are based on up to 6 person occupancy.
