The chalet was everything it claimed to be. Very clean and in an excellent location. The owners have equipped the chalet to make it very comfortable for visitors. Beautiful deck and easy access to lake. Would highly recommend it to other vacationers.

We have stayed at Property 119959 3 times now and each time has been wonderful. We actually stayed at another place thinking it was a little larger, but we all agreed (10 women) that this particular Chalet was welcoming, warm and beautiful to stay at. The unit is always extremely clean and well equipped to minimize the necessary items you need to bring down. The deck is so large and sits just yards from the lake where there is a sandy beach and a dock. When the moon comes out, it just shines on that lake and is absolutely beautiful. We've been there with snow and without -- both having their own appeal. Great fireplace, wonderful living areas and beautiful locale make for an entirely relaxing and wonderful 4 days. Thank you.

We had a wonderful "girl's getaway" weekend! The Chalet is simply beautiful with great decor on the inside and spectacular views on the outside. A great place to spend quality time with family and friends with many amenities: oversized deck with a great lakeside view; wood burining fireplace in the living room; large outdoor firepit by the lake; variety of games and music for all to enjoy. Our group will return and would highly recommend the Lakeside Chalet!

It's hard to find a place like the Lakeside Chalet near St. Louis, and we're so glad we did! After only one hour drive we arrived at a gorgeous chalet located at scenic lake, where everything inside and outside was perfect, making it the ideal place to relax and unite with the family. The Innsbork Resort and Conference Center property is really remarkable with all its beauty, many natural lakes, gorgeous homes integrated with nature, and incredible security. The Lakeside Chalet was perfectly decorated, offering comfort and ambience for the whole family. Glass windows and an L frame design bring the stunning views of the lake and natural surroundings inside of the house. The big deck facing the lake with many chairs and a charcoal grill was the perfect place for many relaxing and fun cookouts with the family. The private beach and dock by the lake, both with chairs, allowed us to enjoy the fall sun on a perfect day and also some good fishing that made the kids very excited. At night, a camp fire by the lake was perfect to enjoy the outdoors one more time, marveling at the stars, chatting and roasting s'mores. The Lakeside Chalet is one of those unique places where you can forget about everything and just enjoy the beauty of nature and the simple things in life. We are looking forward to coming back ... many times!

This is my 3rd stay at this rental property. I LOVE being there! The chalet has everything you want for a getaway. Beautiful lakeside location, comfortable environment with fireplace in chalet, plenty of comfortable seating on outside deck and down by water's edge(dock,sandy beach and fire pit). The chalet kitchen is stocked with all the cookware,dishes and flatware for a large group. We used the fireplace inside and the fire pit down by the lake. We hiked our drive and some neighboring roads plus Innsbrook has several nature trails. I especially enjoy sitting at the large dining table, laughing, talking and playing games with old friends while looking out at the lake. I could go on and on with compliments about this chalet and am always sad when my time is up there! I have given a weekend stay at this chalet to a girlfriend and her family and also to my sister and her family. I want more people to experience the fun and beauty of a stay at this chalet. I am also going to add that the owner is easily accessible by phone or email and is always very understanding/helpful! You can't go wrong staying in this chalet!!!!!!

Our experience was just what we were looking for. A cozy setting, well equipped for relaxing in a beautiful environment. We grilled on the deck, while enjoying a spectacular view, hiked, enjoyed lunch at the restaurant, took the paddle boat around the lake, tried our luck at fishing and even enjoyed a rainy day inside reading and puzzling We will add this long weekend in the Lakeside Chalet as a cherished family memory. Thank you !

The weekend was one of the most relaxing weekends that i"ve ever spent. It rained part of the time, but we played board games and CD's (such good ones). Then we fished while the kids played in the sane and had a ball. just wish we had more time to spend together...a terrififc place for families tol "get to know each other again" - no phones, nothing but wildlife and each other.

This was our second trip back to Innsbrook and our first time in this Chalet. We had an absolute lovely time! It was a bit chilly and the heat worked great! The last chalet we stayed in...didn't seem as efficient. The property was well maintained and had areas that were clear, so it wasn't overgrown so much like some properties. One thing worth mentioning...that I don't recall reading about...they had a space for a bonfire...which we loved! It was a pleasant surprise and my boys loved it. If we don't purchase a place, we will be back for sure! My husband also left something behind and Lauri was great at working out a way to get it back to me. There was also plenty of sleeping areas and games and videos/dvds for the boys. I also liked the fact there was only one tv...the boys enjoyed playing in the sand and fishing and just hanging out on the deck. You won't regret a stay here!

Our family (5 kids, 2-11 in age) decided to try this as an alternative to longer trips we have taken in the past to more distant locations. We arrived in a little over an hour after leaving St. Louis (so nice to not be exhausted as soon as you get there), and found everything as described. The lake is very quiet (we were the only people on it during our weekday stay in mid August), and is great for kids, since there is no boat traffic or chop to worry about. The kids really enjoyed playing on the beach, which is so much better than a dock alone. There is also a small public beach a minute or two away. Inside, the house was clean, and well stocked with an eclectic assortment of books and movies that allowed everyone to find something they liked. There was also a great collection of board and family games. We ate every meal at the house, and found the kitchen and grill up to the task. As we left, we realized we had never walked through the front door since our arrival. We spent the entire 3 days in the house or in the water. I would recommend this location for anyone looking for a quite, well appointed place to just relax and recharge. Once we returned, we had our damage deposit back practically before our bags were unpacked, which was very considerate. We would definitely return.

Our family of 9 stayed at the lakehouse for 5 days the beginning of August. It was wonderful! The house was very accomodating and very clean. There was plenty of room for everyone, although we spent most of our time outside on the deck or the fishing dock. We caught alot of fish, our biggest was a 23 lb carp, which we didn't keep, but it was sure fun watching it get reeled in! The eating area was set up wonderfully and plenty of room for all of us. We also used it to play cards and games at night. The house sure heard alot of laughter when we were there! Thank you so much for sharing your house with us...it is definetly on our list to return to.

The chalet fit our family's needs very well, from the available sleeping accommodations to the kitchen, dining and living areas. We were looking for a place close to St. Louis, but quite and "away from noise and hustle and bustle" and this chalet certainly met our desires. We had to drive to activities other than the sand box on the property and swimming in the lake on which the chalet is located, but that driving did not prove to be a concern for anyone in our group. Warrenton was colse enough for travel to buy supplies during the week. The chalet was well maintained and well supplied with games and movies. We had good internet access. Give the opportunity, we will certainly consider renting the chalet, again.

It is our 2nd time staying in this chalet and it was great. My grandkids had a blast and I even had some down time. The chalet was well stocked and there was plenty to do. There was only 1 TV and that did present a little problem but other than that it was great. We will most likely stay again unless we get a chalet of our own!

Just got back from 4 days at this chalet. All five of us adults had a great time. The chalet is in a beautiful setting, very clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a secluding setting with much to do near by....this is the place for you. Highly recommended!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Lakeside Chalet in Innsbrook this June. The listing description of the property was spot on. The photos show just how the place looks, clean and neat, and wonderfully decorated. The photos don’t show you the hidden features which include movies for the kids, games, blocks, toys, and stereo (we had a few “dance parties” with the kids). The showers were great and the water was nice and hot. No complaints on the accommodations. The property was clean both inside and out. The deck has two dining tables and chairs (seats at least 10) and some lounging chairs too. We spent many nights grilling out and enjoying the sunset from the deck. One thing to note is that it is a charcoal grill, but there is a chimney starter provided. The owner was great answering my questions before the trip. There was even a welcome binder with lots of helpful info (directions to restaurants, grocery stores, things to do, TV channels, etc). Felt like we were checking into a hotel. We took advantage of the nature trails and the pool (located near the main entrance to the community). The pool was wonderful and had a lifeguard and pool side restaurant service. We also enjoyed the restaurant within the community (a family friendly place with a separate bar area). It was so thoughtful of the owner to provide fishing poles and equipment too. Our 4-year-old loved fishing early each morning and later each evening from the private dock. All the kids loved the private beach too, and the stone stairs going down into the water were perfect for the kids, even the 2-year-old. The only challenging thing was going to the grocery store. We recommend the Dierberg’s (more organic selections) or Schnucks at the Wentzville Parkway exit off of I-70. It took at least 30 minutes to drive to the store and 30 minutes to get back, so we had to plan ahead for meals. I would recommend that you bring some food with you (there is a huge pantry and full fridge/freezer) on your first day so that you don’t have to run out right after you arrive. I would definitely recommend this property for families who want to have some relaxing time to spend with each other. There was the perfect mix of activities available for the kids (no one ever said they were bored) and peaceful relaxation for the adults. Thanks to the owner for maintaining such a wonderful vacation home.

Three of my golf buddies and I stayed at this chalet, and it was everything that was advertised. This is a great place for us, because we didn't need to share bedrooms. Besides golf, we swam, fished, grilled steaks and told each other stories that we have all heard many times before.

We'll be back to this lovely chalet tucked into a hillside along Lake Linden. Our family had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the magic that Innsbrook creates. Comfortable beds, lovely furnishings, and a killer fire pit by the dock---we ate every meal on the deck and my son caught a ten pound catfish the first day. Fabulous woodsy escape.

This is the second time we have come to this place and it was wonderful again. I cannot say enough great things about this place. The house is great with plenty of sleeping room. The lake was quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend this place for any group that is looking for a fun/relaxing weekend. The owner was very friendly and a pleasure to do business with. The home is beautiful, private, and very kid friendly. We were unfortunate to have rain daily, but were still able to enjoy the huge deck, and grill between rain drops. Luckily, the home is stocked with movies, CDs, and of course any TV channel you might desire, plus toys and games. It is beautifully decorated, rustic and cozy, yet the 11 in our group didn't seem to get underfoot, despite the fact that we were frequently restricted indoors. We hope to return, and enjoy the fire pit near the water, and further utilize the plentiful assortment of fishing rods and lures.

The Lakeside Chalet is wonderful place to get away. We live just an hour away so it's a short hop into vacation-land. The chalet is clean and well maintained. It has great access to the lake and the deck is big with great views. The bedroom situation works out perfectly with our group and we love the open feel of the entire chalet. This trip was different since we went in the winter with snow on the ground but we enjoyed it as much as in the summer. The fire pit created some wonderful warmth and we spent everyday there looking out onto the frozen, monochromatic, peaceful lake scene. It is a serene place to escape any time of year.

Our family and friends stayed at the property for two nights and celebrated 2011 coming year. The chalet was nice and clean and looked exactly as on the website pictures. It was well equipped (even laptop with internet connection). It had great view on the lake. The owner provided all needed information and responded on our questions promptly. Our girls getaway (highschool friends of 40 yrs.) here was wonderful! This chalet is exactly how it is pictured. It is comfortable and well appointed. Everything was clean and in good working condition. The owner is easily accessable before you go, while you are there and after you return home.While at the chalet, we did have a question about using the DVD player one evening. So we called 2 telephone #s(owner's and handy man) and got the handy man who talked us through connecting DVD. Owner called us back a little later to help us but we were already watching our movie! Chalet has deck facing the lake, nice dock to sit on, sandy beach, adarondak chairs and a fire pit plus fire wood. We did not venture out to any near by activities, we stayed at chalet taking in the view, talking, laughing,eating, playing games and a little hiking. Did I mention eating? I would recommend renting this chalet in a heart beat to anyone! I can't wait to get out there again!!!!

Thanks to the Teagan's for a wonderful weekend! The women in my family all get together once per year and this year we did it in the Lakeside Chalet at Innsbrook. There were 11 of us and we had plenty of room in the chalet. We especially enjoyed watching the sunset on the lake. The resort is beautiful. Our only problem was that we got lost trying to find the home the first time to the resort....but I think this had more to do with our inability to follow directions than anything else! And, getting lost did give us the opportunity to see even more of the resort :)

My fellow teachers and I had such a relaxing and wonderful evening away. Going in the middle of the week was definitely a great choice. I don't think we saw another person the whole time we were there. The lake was relaxing and calm, and we spent quite a bit of time floating around in it. The house was spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. We really enjoyed ourselves and plan to come back again next year. Thanks for all you did to make our evening away so special. The chalet was very nice and had everything we needed. This house in particular has a huge deck (with a gate for the little ones), private sandy beach (with toys/lifejackets/noodles/etc.), fishing dock (with poles and tackle), firepit with seating (seems unnecessary in the summer unless you have kids who are dying to make s'mores!) and plenty of room (2 BR plus loft and bunkbeds). It's often a lot of work traveling with small kids but this house had a highchair, toys, books, games, puzzles, kids DVDs and everything kids need to feel comfortable. The huge deck and grill and nice furniture made it easy on the adults, too. It definitely felt like a home, not a rental property. There really was no need to leave the house at all...except we visited the stables for the youth horserides (ages 2 and 4) and they loved their first experience. They went out on a nature trail on their own horses led by staff members walking beside. The public beaches were also nice just for a change of scenery and had swim docks with ladders for the kids to jump into the lake. We also visited the pool and rented a boat one day just for another experience. We were pleased with everything about Innsbrook, mostly the relaxing atmosphere, pretty views, and short drive from STL. This is not a party place like Lake of the Ozarks, it is laid back and very family friendly. Thank you so much for sharing your home, it's beautiful!!

The perfect getaway

Our stay at the chalet was wonderful. The perfect "get away from it all" place. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all week, we just brought the food. It was so relaxing grilling and eating our meals on the deck. We also used the fishing poles, the fire pit, and the sand toys kept at the property. The Innsbrook area is beautiful and we enjoyed driving through the community, it is nothing like we have ever experienced before. We used the pool at the resort conference center and also rented one of their boats. We also went to a free concert at the farm house area(near the stables.) It was very helpful to have the map of the area when we arrived at the house so we could find our way around. We made one mistake during the week-leaving for a day to go to an amusement park, we should have stayed at the lake! Thanks to the Teagans for a wonderful vacation.

Our group of nine (6 adults, & 3 children under 16 months) had a great time at the Chalet. Innsbrook is a beautiful area with all sorts of things to do. We mostly spent time at the Chalet, but we did enjoy the pool one day and also visited the stables. The kids loved the horses and other wildlife that we saw (deer and turkey). At night after the little ones were in bed, the adults enjoyed the huge deck overlooking the lake. It was so peaceful. The house is stocked with a lot of useful items. We used the fishing poles and tackle one day to catch some large catfish (which we released). I would definitely recommend this place to others. We had a wonderful time.

Thank you Laurie! We really enjoyed our vacation at your lake chalet. It was beautiful! The views were great. We had such a relaxing time and the weather was amazing (highs of 85 in July!.....unheard of in our home state of Texas). Your directions were extremely helpful; we would have been lost without them. We enjoyed several of the Innsbrook amenities. Golf, nature trails, swimming pool and paddle boats. (Although I would recommend to future guests to call ahead and reserve a paddle boat the day before you wish to use it.) Our kids really liked being able to walk down to the lake anytime they wanted. We could either keep an eye on them from the upper deck or relax with them using the chairs provided. We actually had planned to spend some time in the St. Louis area as well and ended up hardly leaving Innsbrook. The chalet is just as described. It's neat, clean and had everything we needed. We have stayed here before and love it. The location is perfect for a girls weekend because it is so close to St. Louis. The house is perfect for a group and the location the the water is ideal. We enjoyed the deck and also the fire by the water. We have stayed in cold weather also and love the fireplace and took advantage of your puzzles. Lauri is great to work with and it is very easy to rent, get there, find it, etc. Have been there about 4 times and will keep coming back...highly recommend, except when we want to use it!!

We spent a wonderful long weekend at this lakeside chalet. Everything was perfect, including the weather. The accommodations worked well for our group. All the information provided by Lauri were accurate. She was easy to contact and provide very specific information. After arriving we had no reason to leave until our departure on Sunday. On Saturday evening we built a campfire near the lake and enjoyed the quiet of our surroundings.

This chalet was great!The place itself was completely furnished, including the kitcen, the deck, and the beach. Everything we needed was in the house, and the furniture itself was in great shape. The landlord was also great to work with. She responded to our initial questions right away, and we were able to have our questions answered about the place even during our stay.For those looking for a place to rent in this area, I would definitely recommend this place, both for the place and for a good experience in communicating with Lauri.

We've enjoyed staying at this lake house...it's perfect for our group of girlfriends. The house is always clean and has all the conveniences for us to have a great time. The location of the house is beautiful, convenient and is a great spot for walking, sitting out on the deck or just sitting around the fire, reading and chatting.

Excellent. Splendid. Marvelous. We friends had the best time at the Lakeside Chalet. The chalet was clean, spacious, well equipped and beatiful. We liked the location and the house. The Teagans are a wonderful family for opening up their chalet for people to come experience the same things they do when their family is spending time at the lake. It is very cozy and makes you feel right at home. The house has beautiful views of nature and wildlife that you can't even describe with words.

The chalet was wonderful, clean and in an excellent location on a very quiet and tranquil lake. The Innsbrook resort property has plenty of deer and other animals. We didn't ride horses though the stables looked quite nice. The golf course is in good condition and easy to get onto; no special permissions or memberships are needed. The restaurant was great and overlooks the 9th hole of the golf course. Our 2 year old son loved the whole trip, especially the pool and the lake!

This is a beautiful, clean house nestled in front of a lake that was perfect for swimming. We enjoyed the quiet surrounding us and the well-stocked game cabinet. I would gladly stay here again.

Beautiful, spacious home in a spectacular location. House was rustic, yet elegant, with a large deck overlooking a nice backyard next to the lake. A great place to enjoy the scenery, take a dip in the lake, and visit with friends and family. We really enjoyed this place. Definitely going back!

This property is in a secluded and quiet area. If you want to relax, this is the place. We had a really nice time and the kids enjoyed the lake. The chalet was exactly as described when I booked our stay. Everything was great, I recommend it!

Our whole family had a wonderful vacation in Innsbrook. The cabin and lake setting were as beautiful as they were in the pictures. We enjoyed hiking, horseback riding, swimming in the lake and at the inground pool, and golfing in this beautiful gated community. We also enjoyed the 1-hour drive to the St. Louis to visit the Zoo, the Arch, and the Budweiser plant. The only problem we had was trying to get our 2 and 4 year old boys inside to eat, they just wanted to keep swimming. The weather was beautiful and we were so amazed that there were no misquitos, not even at night when we sat on the dock by the lake and watched the moon and stars. Their was six of us total my wife and I and our two boys, and our two moms. Everyone had a wonderful time and we hope to come stay here again. I strongly recommend this vacation Chalet to any family and any age group. Our group ranged from 2-years old to 75-years old and we all had a blast.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the chalet in Innsbrook, Mo. Celebrated our 60th anniv.with our 3 children, grands and greats. The accommodations were ideal Comments from our relatives who saw our pictures were, "What a nice place!". Also the swimming pool was great!

This cabin in the woods was beautiful! We had a peaceful and relaxing time there. The lake was beautiful and the fishing was a blast. Great amenities and a beautiful setting. The owners were very accomodating and took good care of us. We are already planning our next trip back for my parents 50th wedding anniversary next year.

We spent the 4th of July weekend at the house, and absolutely loved it! We had several couples and 4 kids, and still had tons of room. The house is very clean, and had tons of little touches to make it feel just like home. The view of the lake is beautiful, and having fishing poles there to use was a great bonus! We will certainly be staying here again in the future, as our kids can't wait to go back! It is close enough to St. Louis, yet feels like it's super far away, which is awesome! Thanks again, we LOVED it!!
