Excellent. Splendid. Marvelous. We friends had the best time at the Lakeside Chalet. The chalet was clean, spacious, well equipped and beatiful. We liked the location and the house. The owners very very friendly and helped us a lot. Higly recommended and we are sure to come back in the summers to enjoy more. We enjoyed our New Year Party at this beautiful Chalet. - Pritam.

My stay at the chalet was wonderful. It was a nice and quiet weekend getaway and I would recommend the chalet to anyone. The owner is very professional and handles correspondence in a timely manner.

The Teagans are a wonderful family for opening up their chalet for people to come experience the same things they do when their family is spending time at the lake. It is very cozy and makes you feel right at home. The house has beautiful views of nature and wildlife that you can't even describe with words.

The chalet was wonderful, clean and in an excellent location on a very quiet and tranquil lake. The Innsbrook resort property has plenty of deer and other animals. We didn't ride horses though the stables looked quite nice. The golf course is in good condition and easy to get onto; no special permissions or memberships are needed. The restaurant was great and overlooks the 9th hole of the golf course. Our 2 year old son loved the whole trip, especially the pool and the lake!

This is a beautiful, clean house nestled in front of a lake that was perfect for swimming. We enjoyed the quiet surrounding us and the well-stocked game cabinet. I would gladly stay here again.

Beautiful, spacious home in a spectacular location. House was rustic, yet elegant, with a large deck overlooking a nice backyard next to the lake. A great place to enjoy the scenery, take a dip in the lake, and visit with friends and family. We really enjoyed this place. Definitely going back!

This property is in a secluded and quiet area. If you want to relax, this is the place. We had a really nice time and the kids enjoyed the lake. The chalet was exactly as described when I booked our stay. Everything was great, I recommend it!

Great Family Vacation

Our whole family had a wonderful vacation in Innsbrook. The cabin and lake setting were as beautiful as they were in the pictures. We enjoyed hiking, horseback riding, swimming in the lake and at the inground pool, and golfing in this beautiful gated community. We also enjoyed the 1-hour drive to the St. Louis to visit the Zoo, the Arch, and the Budweiser plant. The only problem we had was trying to get our 2 and 4 year old boys inside to eat, they just wanted to keep swimming. The weather was beautiful and we were so amazed that there were no misquitos, not even at night when we sat on the dock by the lake and watched the moon and stars. Their was six of us total my wife and I and our two boys, and our two moms. Everyone had a wonderful time and we hope to come stay here again. I strongly recommend this vacation Chalet to any family and any age group. Our group ranged from 2-years old to 75-years old and we all had a blast.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the chalet in Innsbrook, Mo. Celebrated our 60th anniv.with our 3 children, grands and greats. The accommodations were ideal Comments from our relatives who saw our pictures were, "What a nice place!". Also the swimming pool was great!

Peaceful and Relaxing

This cabin in the woods was beautiful! We had a peaceful and relaxing time there. The lake was beautiful and the fishing was a blast. Great amenities and a beautiful setting. The owners were very accomodating and took good care of us. We are already planning our next trip back for my parents 50th wedding anniversary next year.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We spent the 4th of July weekend at the house, and absolutely loved it! We had several couples and 4 kids, and still had tons of room. The house is very clean, and had tons of little touches to make it feel just like home. The view of the lake is beautiful, and having fishing poles there to use was a great bonus! We will certainly be staying here again in the future, as our kids can't wait to go back! It is close enough to St. Louis, yet feels like it's super far away, which is awesome! Thanks again, we LOVED it!!

We had the most relaxing vacation. We enjoyed the huge deck while the children swam in the peaceful lake and played on the beach. The chalet was great. We will go back next summer!

Thanks for a great weekend. We didn't want to spend a lot of time traveling, so Innsbrook appealed to us. The house easily accommodated our large group and the golf course was nice. The course is well kept with a lot of elevation changes. Don't be misled by what appears to be short total yardage for the course; there are four par threes. Based on the comfort of the house and proximity to St Louis, I highly recommend this home to anybody looking to get away for the weekend.

Our experience was great. We had several fires down at the lake with our kids. If you enjoy the peacefulness of a lake and the outdoors this is the place to be. The is loaded with fun activities for children and adults.

We had a great time at this location. Beautiful and clean lake front home inside and out! House is beautifully decorated. We had 5 adults and 2 children and had more than enough room to all enjoy ourselves. VERY KID-FRIENDLY!! Owner has kids games, puzzles, blocks and various toys. Easily entertained my 4 year old and 10 month old. Owner provided excellent customer service. We traveled to downtown St. Louis - approximately 1 hour to Arch, Zoo, Budweiser, etc. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Perfect for the family - the kids love the beach and caught a lot of fish. It was great! The experience was perfectly relaxing. The first place we stayed in a long time we didn't have to put up with anything when we got there.

A Perfect Getaway and Reunion Venue

We recently stayed at this charming chalet for a reunion with friends who have not seen each other for decades. My friends/former classmates came from the west coast to the east coast including Canada. We had a blast. We didn't need to look for restaurants although there were a few choices if we wanted to. Part of the fun was preparing meals together and the chalet provided for the kitchen utensils and appliances that we needed. The place is well maintained and stocked with every imaginable item you may need from coffee, sugar and cream to board games, books, music cd's, even first aid kits and some toiletries. The owner/management was very responsive to even the most minute detail even in our planning stage. The only suggestion is an earlier check-in time because it was a challenge looking for the place for the first time in the evening (we rented the place in the fall) when we had shorter daylight time and if you are from out of town/state. It was easier to find after that. We have no regrets renting this place and we really had a good time. I will have no problem recommending this place to anyone.

It was a wonderful vacation for my kids and grandkids. They loved it. It's only an hour away but it felt like we were really on vacation. But it was close enough that people came and went and it wasn't a problem. The chalet was very comfortable and relaxing--all the comforts of home!

Fantastic!! Everybody in our group (7 in total) loved the place. It immediately felt like home and has all the amenities one could ask for. It is roomy yet still feels very cozy and comfortable. Its location on the lake is terrific, as is the lake itself. It is a wonderful place to relax, but there are enough activities close by in case people are looking for them. We will definitely consider a trip back there in the future.

We had 8 people stay at the Chalet and it absolutely exceeded our expectations in every way. Clean, nicely furnished, lots of room, secure and safe. The house has the nice touches that make you feel like you haven't left the comforts of your personal home. Having direct access to the lake from the back door was a big bonus. Our group unanimously agreed we'd like to return next year.
