THIS IS FIRST CLASS! We savor the time we can get away and stay here. These great views are comfortably seen from the Lanai, Living room, eating area and kitchen. We challenge you to find more stunning views anywhere on earth. This Pali Ke Kua unit sits above Hideaways Beach and provides a private paved walkway for access to secluded sunbathing, snorkeling and great surf!
VACATION RENTAL AMENITIES: In addition to the View, the View, and the View, our condo features a beautifully appointed master bedroom with a quality king size bed, TV, and island themed decoration. The living room is spacious and offers spectacular views of the ocean and coastline. We have two VERY comfortable recliners and a sofa, as well as a large, HDTV, stereo with iPod docking station, and DSL internet access. The kitchen includes all cooking utensils, stove, oven, microwave, and dining table with view. The swimming pool, and BBQs are a short walk away. This condo also features A/C (very rare for this complex), washer/dryer/iron, plenty of parking close by, and much more. For additional guests, there is also a Queen-size AeroBed with full linens and pillows
ACTIVITIES AND ATTRACTIONS: Located on an ocean bluff on the North Shore of Kauai in Princeville this condo is just minutes away from the award winning Princeville Resort's Prince (18 hole) and Makai (27 hole) golf courses, and the Health Club and Spa. Many of Kauai's best beaches, restaurants, and other desirable amenities including biking, hiking, surfing, snorkeling, and scuba diving are located within a comfortable walking distance. Nearby Princeville Center includes a grocery store, restaurants, shops, post office and more. The quaint town of Hanali Bay, which is just an 8-minute drive or 15 minute walk, offers more restaurants, shopping, and ocean activities. Drive the beautiful coastline or stay at home relax, enjoy, and listen to the sounds of the crashing waves while watching the spectacular ocean and mountain scenery. Personally, my favorite activity is exercising the comfortable patio furniture with a good book while trading glances at the great view.

The views from this condo are spectacular, but we were very disappointed with the accommodations. The first thing we noticed was the many roach traps set up all over. Not a good first impression. The unit is very outdated, cramped and in disrepair. The sofa was filthy. This has been noted several times in the guest book they keep but for some reason the owner does not see a need to replace it. Things are held together with duct tape, there are outlets with no covers on them and there are random panels on the wall and in shower covering some sort of mistake, I guess. The description states there are 2 bathrooms, but there is only one. The cramped bathroom does have a full size washer and dryer stowed behind a horrible looking curtain. "BBQs are a short walk away" is a bit deceptive. The grill is a long way down a very steep hill and it would not be practical to actually make that trek. When vacationing, we look for someplace nice to come home to after a day of taking in the sights. We dreaded coming back to this condo in the evenings. The only thing that made it tolerable was the AC in the bedroom. This condo definitely looks a lot better in photos than in person. Would not return!Did you find this review helpful? My husband and I had a wonderful time in Kauai. We came to get married and spend our honeymoon. The condo was very nice and clean, everything you would need, plus the A/C was also great to have. It was so nice to be able to sit out on the patio and watch the sunset every night. This condo has the most GORGEOUS Views. We will definitely be coming back to PKK 102. We loved this unit in Pali Ke Kua. You just can't beat the views and the North Shore all together. The unit and complex is great, nice and quiet. We appreciated the air conditioning system for warmer Summer days and nights, we definitely put it to use. It was great to find a nicely upgraded condo on Kauai for a great price. I occasionally go to Hawaii for work and family vacation. Kauai is my favorite island and Pali Ke Kua is my favorite place to stay because of its world class location. This unit is by far the nicest I've stayed in. The decor and furniture are beautiful, tasteful and make it so easy to relax. Thank you Bob and Heidi for the experience. I pick my investments very carefully and this is one of the very best locations on one of the nicest islands in the world! My favorite thing to do is visit this property and just unwind. the surf isn't half bad either!
