  This is the perfect house for a family of four. Just steps from the beach, it's an easy walk to town or to Seadrift. The house was clean and neat when we arrived. Instruction were provided on where everything was and how to operate the hot tub. The house has an open floorplan. Our young children loved the second bedroom. The roof deck is perfect for lunch and watching the sunset. Donna and Terry were very responsive and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better experiance.

  We were 2 friends exploring San Francisco and wine country. We stayed in SF for three days then a night in Napa and wanted to experience the Pacific coast. Donna was great to work with about answering questions and providing information prior to our arrival. We were concerned about the second bedroom being two twin beds and more of a childs decor and found that is really didn't work as well for an adult, so we shared the master bedroom. Having two bathrooms was really nice. The pictures online were not quite the a representation of the house. Different livingroom furniture, the bed upstairs shows a bed frame but no frame, a sofa in the master that wasn't there. Not a big deal. Linens and kitchen wares a little dated, but was able to cook there most nights . Made a fire in the fireplace, even though no kindling found drift wood on the beach to use. Blower on the fireplace does not work.We only used the hot tub once. The odor was of concern , I think is was the cover. The location to the beach great! Much cooler temps then inland but walking the beach was peaceful and enjoyable. Many people walking their dogs and others enjoying the sites.People very friendly. We saw seals, crabs and dolphins along our way. The road getting to Stinson beach is quite an experience! Very winding and hair pin turns. The 10.8 miles of road in took about 20 minutes. We choose to drive it when the fog had lifted and during the day. So easy to get to SF and about an hour and 15 to Napa. The area very laid back and ate out a few times in the town. Only a few but quaint. Definitely a relaxing area and great beach. The owners were great to work with and available if needed. Thank you Donna and Terry.

  Our family of four loved this house. It is very nicely decorated and maintained, very quiet and peaceful and just steps from the beach. The quality of the light in the upstairs bedroom is lovely. A great market, library and restaurants are located within walking distance. A short drive takes you to Point Reyes National Seashore and some of California's last unsettled beaches. If you have a small family and like the ocean, this is the place to stay. Thank you Donna and Terry for making it available.

  We had a wonderful time at this perfect beach house. It's really just steps from the beach, with beautiful ocean and hill views from upstairs. Lunch on the deck was a pleasure! Downstairs, you can watch surfers come and go on the street or snuggle up on the comfy couch. The entry garden is very sweet and private. The kitchen is well-appointed; we cooked two dinners at home with ease. Our 90 year old Mom was also happy at the house, with her own bedroom and bath on the main floor. She enjoyed the octopus mural! The portable beach chairs also worked really well for her. At night the sound of the sea is grand. Thanks to Donna and Terry for providing us with such a great place.

  We just had another wonderful vacation staying at Donna and Terry's lovely Stinson Beach home. This is the perfect house for our family of 3 to vacation at the beach. Our daughter refers to this as "her second home" as we have rented this house for the past 4 or 5 summers! The 30 second walk to the beach encourages us to boogie board until we need to walk back and warm up in the hot tub. The house is well appointed and very comfortable - we'll be back next summer!

  WE JUST CELEBRATED OUR 27TH ANNIVERSARY THIS AUGUST 2011, AND IT IS DEFINITELY ONE OF THE BEST ANNIVERSARY'S WE HAVE HAD. THE HOUSE IS SO PERFECT A COUPLE STEPS FROM ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACHES IN CALIFORNIA, WE WALKED THE BEACH EVERYDAY AND WE PICKED UP SHELLS, WE GOT TO SEE SEALS AND WE GOT TO SEE AND HEAR THE WAVES.THEN WE HAD THIS INCREDIBLE HOUSE EVERYTHING WE NEEDED THE KITCHEN IS GREAT, THERE WAS WOOD FOR FIRES IN THE FIREPLCE, CANDLES TO PUT AROUND BATHTUB, AND THE HOT TUB AND YOU CAN HEAR THE WAVES FROM THE BEACH INSIDE THE HOUSE. THE OWNER DONNA VERY NICE. WE DIDN'T WANT TO GO HOME WE WANTED TO STAY, BECAUSE THE HOUSE IS NICE AND COZY AND THE BEACH IS BEAUTIFUL.WE HAD A GREAT TIME.

  My family and I spent a week here in July. We enjoyed the time at the beach, especially getting away from the oppressive heat here in Atlanta. The house was perfect for what we were looking for, a good home base to live in while we explored the area around San Francisco. In addition to the beach, we spent several days in San Francisco itself, spent a day in wine country, and took a two day trip out to visit the Yosemite area. The Muir Woods National Monument with its Coastal Redwoods is just a short ride away also and is definitely worth visiting. All in all, it was a very nice home in which to spend a week away from the rat race. Donna & Terry were very good to work with and are more than willing to answer any questions you have about the area. The only regret is that we had to head back home after only a week.

  This was a wonderful rental property. Well appointed, very comfrortable, well maintained and perfectly located. We spent a week here summer 2010 and it was terrific. Literally steps from the beach, yet private. The upstairs private deck has great ocean views and the spa was clean and a real plus. Easy walk to town. Great kitchen. Everything worked. And reasonably priced. This was a truly enjoyable vacation for our family of four. If you're a beach person this is a great location and rental property.

  We stayed at this lovely beach house for week with our adult children. We are an active family so we took advantage of the great hiking (Muir Woods, Pt. Reyes) and Kayaking (Bolinas Lagoon), as well as a trip into the city (SF) for some excellent cuisine and sight seeing. Stinson Beach is the perfect location to not only get away from it all, but with easy accessibility to all of the above. The house is located a a few steps from the beach where we explored, gathered lots of shells and flew our kites. Our favorite part of this house was a rooftop balcony with lots of seating and even a heater for those cool nights. Donna was a pleasure to work with and we look forward to another visit as time permits.

  Very pretty and comfortable home with everything needed for our family of 4. Good market and 2-3 restauarants all walking distance if you don't want to cook. Cute little town and great location for hiking Mt. Tam, Muir Woods, Point Reyes... plus the great beach only a few steps from door to sand. We all enjoyed the hot tub - especially the boys. Donna & Terry were super helpful and responsive. Would go back in a heartbeat!
