Owner Description
Year Purchased: 1998
We bought the property in 1998, right after we got married. We are the owners of a marketing & branding agency that has been in business since 1996. Chris is a contemporary artist, and the paintings in the condo are all originals. We both love the beach area, the Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla and downtown San Diego, movies, eating out at good restaurants, and of course being parents to our son.
Why the Owner Chose Solana Beach
Turfwood is one of the hidden gems of Solana Beach. We had lived in North County San Diego for years, and it wasn't until our Realtor took us over to this complex did we discover it. The location was perfect - close to the freeway, but not too close to hear the noise from it; walking distance to some of the best restaurants in the area; from the property you can walk to the beach in 10 minutes; and of course - walking distance to the San Diego Fair & Del Mar Races (horse racing).
The location of the townhome within the Turfwood complex is situated in an ideal spot. Lower level, close to pool (but not too close to hear people in there) end unit, quiet and private.
The Unique Benefits of this Townhome
When we lived there we would go to the jacuzzi nearly every day. We love that Turfwood is a pet-friendly and kid-friendly environment. The neighbors are social and helpful. Love to smell the ocean air... Turfwood is a nice beach retreat!
