The restored 13th Century Farmhouse - Tuscany, Italy Vacation Rental
Tuscan Bliss otherwise known as 'Il Ciliegio' is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the historic centre of Anghiari yet it is totally immersed in the Tuscan countryside. It enjoys beautiful views of the Tiber valley, fields and olive groves. Glance back to this wonderful surreal view on the short walk down to us.
Anghiari is located in the Tiber valley in the eastern part of Tuscany close to the border with Umbria. The Tiber valley, as the name clearly implies, takes its name from the Tiber river which crosses it.
Anghiari is a stunning medieval village which has been claimed to be 'one of the most beautiful villages in Italy' by the ANCI (National Association of Italian Municipalities). In addition to this Anghiari has also been awarded by Italian Touring Club the 'bandiera arancione' synonym of quality tourism and accommodation. The Upper Tiber Valley which Anghiari looks down upon has remained much as it was since the ancient Roman's were using the sturdy oak trees of the zone to construct the Empire.
