Villa Serafina is a very elegant apartment situated in the village of Torca, just 1 kilometer from the centre of Sant'Agata sui due Golfi. A preferred holiday spot for many years with holidaymakers who enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside together with beautiful sea views, Sant'Agata sui due Golfi sits between the two Gulfs of Naples and Salerno on a hillside which looks down onto the famous resort of Sorrento. The Villa Serafina faces the Galli islands, once the home of the unforgettable ballet dancer Rudolf Nureyev, with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Salerno.
The Apartment "Serafina" consists of a large apartment with a swimming pool, private parking, sun terrace and a large garden where vegetables and fruit are grown. The apartment is extremely elegant and refined and is paved with majolica tiles from Vetri sul Mare which are painted by hand.
A beautifoul garden with plants and flowers, shower, terrace, garden furniture and barbecue make it a stunning holiday home.
The upper floor, renovated in 2006 is very comfortable with stylish furnishings: living/dining room with one double sofa bed, exit to the balcony ,two double bedrooms (one bedroom with included bathroom, with Jacuzzi hydro massage tub), kitchen (Five hotplates, oven, deep freezer) one bedroom with 2 single beds or one double bed, one bathroom with shower. Reserved parking.
The apartment "Serafina" is situated in Torca, seven km from Massa Lubrense,only one km from the centre of Sant'Agata sui due Golfi, nine km from the centre of Sorrento, in a quiet, sunny, elevated position on top of a hill, nine km from the sea.

A DREAM COME TRUE

My husband and I traveled to Italy with another couple for our 25th anniversary. We stayed in Torca at Villa Serafina and were absolutely ecstatic with the whole experience. The town is a friendly, lovely, quiet (in May) place to experience the real Italian village feel. We were able to walk to town in the morning for coffee, where we became very friendly with many locals, and then head out to explore for the rest of the day. We went to Sorrento, Pompeii, Herculeneum, Ravello, Positano and Capri. All trips were very accessible, and returning home to a lovely villa was wonderful! Alfredo and his family were very welcoming and charming. They made us feel right at home, with lots of good suggestions for great restaurants and things to do. He is a man we will remember forever for his smile and charm. We had never traveled to Italy and found that we picked a wonderful spot that was perfect for our needs. Thank you for your hospitality and for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home. We will return some day! Eileen and Mike Roberts

My husband and I have stayed here once and my parents have been back numerous times. I would not stay anywhere but here if visiting the area. my husband and I would walk every morning to have breakfast at the bar and then return and take the quick bus ride into Sorrento. The accommodations are amazing and are the rooms are decorated with an eye for detail. the view from our room was unforgettable. My husband and I cannot wait to take the trip again when our time allows. the owners of the property were also very knowledgable of the area and as another review states Alfredo's ability to speak english is priceless. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

This was one of the best vacations we have ever had! The villa is beautiful and the views are breath-taking. The owners are very hospitable and generous. They take pride in providing their visitors with a very clean, comfortable and lovingly-decorated house. The house is very well situated to see many of the local attractions. We would highly recommend checking it out! We think that it's a real bargain and a true gem!

The apartment is beautiful, very spacious and clean with a beautiful view of the sea. It had everything we needed. Alfredo was very helpful and the fact that he spoke English was definitely a bonus for us. When we arrived he walked us to his sister’s small market and had her open it so we were able to buy a few items we needed. Alfredo also had some grapes from his own garden and a bottle of water in the fridge for us when we arrived. He also gave us some tomatoes, basil and oregano. He had great suggestions about restaurants in the area. The apartment is in a large complex with the homes of Alfredo and several other family members so you really got a local feel of the area. With that came some construction noise, kids playing, and dogs barking. It didn’t really bother us too much because we left after breakfast and didn’t come back until late because we were there to check out the area. The free parking right in front of the apartment was great. The apt is in a great central location for exploring the area. It was about 15 minutes to Sorrento and 30 minutes to Positano. The small town of Sant’ Agata which was 5 minutes drive away was very cool. The best restaurant there was Stutzzcinno, I’m sure I am spelling it wrong but Alfredo can tell you where it is.

If you are planning a trip that includes not only a trip to the Amalfi coast but also visiting Sorrento, Massa Lubrenese, Pompeii, and Naples, this is the ideal location. The house was just as it was described in the listing. In fact, it was much more elegant and beautiful than the pictures could portray. It was truly one of the most elegant apartments we have stayed in in Italy. Parking is right at the door in a gated secure area. The views from the two balconies are beatiful with the changing play of light on the sea and the offshore islands. If you prefer not to drive to the more distant areas such as Naples and Pompeii, (I would suggest you don't) there is excellent bus and train transportation from either Torca, where the apartment is located, or from the nearby town of St Agata. The owner has formerly worked on cruise ships and speaks fluent english, and I am sure other languages, and is a most gracious and helpful host. He and his lovely wife live right on the property and introduced us to their many relatives in the town. In fact the owner's sister runs an alimentary and we took advantage of the opportunity to "just ring the bell when the store is not open." If you have traveled in Italy before you know how nice that convenience is. It was a pleasure to meet and be the guest of the gracious and helpful couple. Questa appartamento e' molto bello, elegante, e il meglio appartamento che abbiamo affitato in Italy. Se il mio Italiano e' meglio scriverei pui. Complimenti!
