Dual Jet Ski Ramp & Two Boat Slips - Lake LBJ Vacation Rental Want the accommodations of a hotel, but total privacy as well? You can have BOTH at the River Oaks Lake House. The River Oaks Lake House, located on the Llano Arm of Lake LBJ in Kingsland, TX, has a great layout for reunions or larger groups. It has a large, central living and eating area with four separate bedrooms each with full bathrooms. This lake home has everything you need for a fun, memorable vacation…and it is very kid friendly! THE BEDROOMS: Each hotel-style bedroom can sleep 4 adults. The two waterfront bedrooms are equipped with a king size bed and twin bed with trundle. The two front bedrooms have two double beds, and one with a baby crib. Each room has a full bath, ample closet space, a dresser, nightstand, table and chairs. Two of the bedrooms have televisions. THE KITCHEN: The kitchen spans almost the entire length of the house with a long counter with double sink on one side and a bar for eating on the other side. You can sit 8 to 10 people at the bar alone! The kitchen also comes equipped with all major appliances, including two refrigerators, double oven with porcelain top, microwave, toaster, blender, two coffee makers and a separate ice maker. Of course, silverware, plates, cups, glasses and spices are also included. Next to the long bar is an extra long dining table with seating for everyone, including a high chair. LIVING AREAS: On each side of the kitchen and eating area are living areas for relaxing, playing with the kids or watching t.v. The living area on the water side has two sofas, one love seat, coffee table, rocking chair and a fully equipped entertainment center with satellite television and DVD/VCR. The other living area has a sleeper sofa, rocking chair, table and room for kids to play. It even comes equipped with children’s toys and books! There is also a pantry/laundry room with a half bath right off the main living area. OUTSIDE: The River Oaks Lake House is on the deep end of the Llano Arm of Lake LBJ in Kingsland. You can boat, jet ski and fish right from this location. There is also a public boat ramp very close by at the Lions Club Public Park. The back covered patio spans the entire width of the house and is equipped with 4 oversized, teak rocking chairs, 1 double rocker, 1 picnic table with extra patio chairs, a beverage cooler and charcoal grill. Also added in Spring 2007 is an extended concrete slab patio, now you can sun or shade. Right off the porch is a nicely landscaped, fenced in area perfect for kids and pets to play safely. Outside the gated area is an open, grassy yard with large pecan trees. A beautiful, sheltered sitting area by the water is also a perfect place to enjoy the scenery or a snack. There are two boat docks and two jet ski ramps for fishing and parking your watercraft. Swimming is also easy…you can jump right off of the docks! The front yard boasts a large “u-shaped” driveway with basketball hoop. The River Oaks Lake House is also right across the street from the Packsaddle Golf Course and Country Club. LOCATION: The River Oaks Lake House is located in Kingsland, TX right off of Hwy 1431. Local entertainment is only a few miles away – public golf courses (Packsaddle Golf Course #17 Green is right across the street), The Lengends (Now PUBLIC) and Inks Lake State Park Colf Course. Tourist attractions such as the Longhorn Caverns, Sweet Berry Farm, Devil’s Water Hole at Inks Lake State Park and local wineries such as Lost Creek. The Kingsland Slab is also a great swimming hole that is just minutes away! If you are coming from the house, go left on Hwy 1431 and then take another left on FM 3404. You’ll see it a couple of miles down. The River Oaks Lake House is only 60 minutes northwest of Austin, 90 minutes north of San Antonio, 3 hours south of Dallas/Ft. Worth and 3 ½ hours west of Houston. Pet Policy: River Oaks Lake House does accept pets (2 dogs maximum). The pets must be housebroken and kenneled if left unattended in the home. Pets are not allowed on the furniture.
