Great location, quiet apartment, rooftop views

We returned to this vibrantly decorated apartment for a second year -- it's a block and a half from the Jardin and close to restaurants, shops, and the flower, produce, and artisans market. The outdoor space includes a small, well landscaped courtyard and a serene rooftop garden with views of five historic churches. The apartment features colorful decor and excellent folk art with several interesting pieces of furniture and a comfortable king size bed. The owner's staff -- Ana and Jose -- provide smiles plus daily maid and gardening service.

Recommended for:Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Jane and I would like to book the apartment for next year at the same time -- arriving Wednesday, March 2, 2011, and departing Saturday, March 12 -- a total of 10 nights. We obviously enjoyed our stay -- and I will be posting favorable comments on the web site. I took several pictures of the apartment (with the modest rearrangements we made). There is not a better location in SM. 1 1/2 blocks from the jardin and around the corner from the biblioteca. The apartment has everything you need and is decorated with art work. A great place to stay.

Dear Marlene, Everything at your apartment is wonderful. There have been non-stop parades and plenty of bells ringing as usual. Ana prepared her chicken breasts last night and they were excellent! Tonight there is an equestrian show at the Palaza del Toros. We walked up to the botanical garden on our first day and the flowers were beautiful! We are happy to be your guests in a very convenient and colorful apartment. Mary and Phil Email and AIM finally together. You've gotta check out free AOL Mail!

We recently stayed in this lovely apartment. I wanted to say what a wonderful experience it was. The location can not be beat. The bed was luxurious. The views from the terrace was incredible both in the early mornings and for a glass of wine in the evenings. The kitchen fully equiped though we didn't take advantage of that fact. Since San Miguel has so many great restaurants we mostly ate out. There is a fantastic market around the corner for cheeses, cereal, milk, coffees etc... the basics. Everything we wanted to do was very easy walking. Our dogs were very happy in the apartment with their own little patio. We have stayed in other places in San Miguel in this price range and been less than thrilled. We were very impressed and happy about this new discovery and will stay here again!

I have stayed in this apartment more than once and i LOVED it! The location is perfect with an extremely short walk to the jardin (literally a few steps away) and a view thats to die for. The terrace offers a nice place to relax and enjoy the sunset, and the town is incredible. I highly recommend this location to everyone...!!
