Sit by the fire at night and enjoy our home away from home. High up on the mountain at 3600 feet you can enjoy the peaceful sound of nature and enjoy the beautiful sunrise and the wonderful mountain and valley views.
You will be located only minutes from many popular attractions such as the Biltmore House (25 min), Cherokee Indian Reservation and Harrah's Casino (45 min), beautiful downtown Waynesville with many shops and restaurants (10 min), Blue Ridge Parkway (25 min),Ghost Town ( 15 min),and Ski Cataloochee Mountain (15 min). These are just a few of the many attractions to choose from.
You will appreciate the amenities of this NON-SMOKING home such as wood floors, wood burning fireplace, refrigerator, gas cooktop, double ovens, dishwasher, microwave, and full size washer and dyer. Kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, and baking dishes.
Besides enjoying the spectacular views from our great room, relaxing in front of the fire, you may want to try your hand at Foosball, or watch a little TV, DVD/VCR, play cards or board games, or connect to the Internet with the wireless DSL Internet access provided. There is a TV DVD/VCR with Direct TV located in the loft. The home has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a beautiful queen size log bed, TV with Direct TV, private bath, and a private deck to enjoy your morning coffee. The second bedroom also has a beautiful handcrafted queen size log bed. A queen size air mattress is also available for extra quests.
We provide all linens and paper products for your stay.

the cabin was wonderful with a spectacular view. It was like walking into your own home, anything you could want was available. with the cool nights we were able to have a fire in the fireplace each evening. We were within easy reach of many sightseeing spots in western NC and eastern TENN. We think fall is the best time to be here because of the leaves changing color, cool days and nights, and the many festivals. Once you go up and down the road to the cabin it's easy, even at night which we did several times.
Recommended for:Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We had a wonderful vacation and your log home was perfect in every way. Would highly recommend your home and all the area has to offer within a short distance to anyone that wants a fabulous vacation.

The cabin was fantastic. We stayed there four nights, and it was extremely relaxing and scenic . . . even better then the pictures on the VRBO site. Plenty to do in the area, too. I would highly recommend this place for a quiet getaway.

We just returned from spending 9 nights at the cabin. Everything was fantastic and is just as pictured in the photos. The cabin is very well maintained and is equipped with everything you could want. The summer time views are terrific and must really be extraordinary in the fall and winter. We have stayed in many VRBO homes and this is definitely one of the best!!!

We stayed there for our honeymoon and fell in love with the area and cabin. The cabin and scenery were breathtaking. The Biltmore was close and a fantastic site.. We will be back and I highly reccomend it to all.

What a wonderful place to kick back and relax! We thoroughly enjoyed our week in your beautiful home. It was only a short drive to the beautiful golf course and also to Waynesville, Ashville and the Biltmore. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone wanting to vacation in the beautiful Smokey Mountains.

What a wonderful view with peace and tranquility. The drive up is a little challenging, but also ensures privacy and seclusion. Our eight and six year old girls had a fantastic time exploring in the woods and the grounds around the cabin. It was the perfect place to use as a base for exploring the beauty of Gods creation on the Blue Ridge Parkway and in the Great Smokey Mountains. Thank you Steve and Debbie for sharing your home with us. You have done a wonderful job of ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
