This lovely 1930s home has kept its charm and integrity.There is no place quite like it in this area! For all the comforts of home, with all the extras here. You will feel like you are on your own private land as this house is nestled right next to the State Park on nostalgic Oneida Lake! The tall trees from the park provide plenty of shade, while you relax in the sunroom, enjoying a panoramic view of the lake, provided by the 20+ feet of floor to ceiling windows. The living and Florida rooms have plenty of comfortable seating for your guests. The home has breathtaking views from almost every room in the house.
If you like looking at the lake or looking at the tall trees that trail 250 feet down the property, then this rental home is for you! The cool breeze off the lake in the summer runs through every window if you want to turn off the air-conditioning. There is plenty of sand to put your beach chairs in. The lake is shallow and is great for the kids.
The house has been newly furnished, including the mattresses on every bed, a 32" LCD TV in the living room, a TV in the sun room and one upstairs for your viewing pleasure. The bathrooms are updated. There is a new refrigerator and full kitchen with everything you need and a generator that will automatically kick in should there be any power failures. There are little touches that the owners added to make their guests feel at home. There is a long, lighted driveway which has room for up to 4 cars. If your rental needs exceed the maximum capacity of 10 persons, there is a very nice, newly constructed 3 bedroom, 1 bath guest house available on the property that is beautifully furnished!
You're 28 miles from Syracuse airport and there are great restaurants all around you, like The Spaghetti Factory, which has the friendliest staff in town!
The famous Sylvan Beach Amusement Park is less than one mile away. The Turning Stone Casino where they have famous entertainers year round, spas to pamper you, fine dining and three PGA golf courses is just 11 miles from your door. The town of Bouckville with 7 miles of Antique Shops and Historic Tours is 30 minutes drive. The Boxing Hall of Fame located near the NYS Thruway, just 3 miles from the house.
The sunsets are unsurpassed and seem to get more beautiful every day!
The fall foliage is spectacular in this area, coupled with the beauty of the lake and the crisp clean air, it's a great house to be staying at to really take it all in!
We are an hour drive from the beautiful Adirondack Mountains which offer many activities including hunting, fishing, antique railroad tours, hiking and mountain climbing.

- Great fishing in the area. Sylvan Beach Amusement Park only one mile away. The July 4th weekend is celebrated all along the lake with many festivities and fireworks. Hiking and Bicycling trails in your back yard! If you prefer indoor exercise, there is a fitness center located one mile from the house in Sylvan Beach. We are located 30 minutes from Bouckville, famous for it's Antique Stores, all 7 miles of them! The Turning Stone Casino has live entertainment, famous faces every week, spas, PGA golf courses, fine dining etc... and is just 11 miles down the road. We are right next door to the Verona Beach State Park. The foot path to the park is at the end of our driveway!

Why the Owner Chose Verona Beach
I am originally from Upstate NY. Growing up, I spent many summers at the beach with my family and when I moved to Florida, I would travel back home every summer and rent a place on Oneida Lake because I loved it so much and I get to spend time with my cousins and dear friends that I missed so much when I moved to Florida.
When I met my husband, who is not a native of New York State, I introduced him to the beach experience and we've been enjoying it together since then. Our children love it, too!
A few years ago, my husband and I decided to buy a property on Verona Beach and share it with others who enjoy the beach as much as we do. We are now making our own family memories there.

This home offers beautiful views from all sides. It is not "campy" like other rentals that we've been to. Our neighbors have told us that we have the nicest lot on Lakeshore Road! We have furnished it pleasantly with all the comforts of a home added to it.
While staying with us, you are only 1 mile from the Sylvan Beach Amusement Park in an upscale Verona Beach neighborhood. The home has a private sandy beach and tall shade trees that provide more beautiful scenery. It's exclusive location being the only house nestled next to the Verona Beach State Park. You have a bike and foot path entrance to the park at the base of our driveway.
There are 7 great restaurants within 2 miles of the home. The city of Oneida is 15 minutes away and has all the major department stores for your shopping needs.
The Turning Stone Resort is 11 miles from the home, where they offer fine dining, spa treatments, celebrity headliners performing and 3 PGA gulf courses, some of the best in the country.
While you stay with us, the home is protected by a generator that will turn on the power during a power failure and you won't have to be with out electricity.
The NY State Thuway is 7 miles away.
The Syracuse Airport is 21 miles away.
The Boxing Hall of Fame is 6 miles away.
There is so much to do in this area, that it would be difficult to get bored!

I have rented this property for three years in a row and have enjoyed my stay each and everytime. The lake views are wonderful and its very peaceful and relaxing here. At night there is nothing as calming as laying in bed and feeling and hearing the water rolling onto the soft sand outside your window. I love sharing my morning with the birds and wildlife as I sit and sip coffee on the swing facing the lake. There is so much to do in this area and everything is close enough to get to. We like the quaintness of the town as well as the hussle and bustle of the nearby Turning Stone Resort. Relax on the beach with the kids, take in a show or some gaming tables at the casino. My wife and I have rented this property for two years. We know the area well (as we both grew up in surrounding towns) and have rented various houses throughout the years....We've found this property to be a great value and well maintained. I would highly reccomened this property to anyone. You have a nice sandy beach for the kids, complete privacy on one side of the house, updated with flat screen tv's, wireless internet, etc. Good luck in your search...don't let this property go without a serious consideration. It was a very quaint home done up very nicely. Felt like home. All the amenities were in working order. My favorite things to do was wake up and have my coffee in the sun room with a beautiful full panoramic view of the lake. Gorgeous! And sitting outside swinging in the adirondack swing or lounging in my own private beach was just what the doctor ordered. And when I wanted to go into town and get into the excitement I wasn't far away. It was an easy walk too! Neighbora are really nice too. I can't wait to go back with my big group!

My family had the pleasure of staying at both the main house and the guest house on this property. We all agreed that it is the nicest place that we have ever stayed in the area. The views are priceless and the owner was extremely accomodating. What a great place to vacation!!!!
