We stayed at Friends on the Beach during Spring Break 2012. We have never been to the Seagrove Beach area and I have to say, we were very impressed!! We didn't want to stay around the "normal" Spring Break rowdy crowd and Seagrove Beach offers that. The area is very family oriented and the food is great. The condo to include the entire building was clean and well-maintained and the listing accurately reflects the condo's apperance and amenities. Thanks for everything Reba. We will be back!

I have stayed at this condo twice this year. When I want to go to the gulf coast, I look no further for a place to stay. The condo is very nice, all you could want in a nice warm place to stay. August Getaway

Very nice furnishings, clean, comfortable. The beds were comfy and things were quite at night, so REST was achieved. It had all the convienences of home, although we chose family time over TV (there were 3 and a RedBox is basically across the street!) The employees of One Seagrove Place were friendly, as well as the Jeff that rented the beach chairs and umbrellas (a duh moment for me, as I had forgotten, he told me that AVON's "Skin So Soft" would keep the flys off when the winds were calm). I keep a VACATION folder, information for a return visit will be kept there.

We enjoyed the time we spent in Seagrove. The only negative was the "chair and umbrella" company. They were not friendly and would not allow us to sit in our "paid for" chairs until exactly 9:00am. (I actually saw one worker ORDER a lady to get up out of the chair becasue it was 8:55 am.) That was the only thing that "raised my blood pressure" while on vacation.

Immediately I contacted Management at One Seagrove and she was glad I did as we all want vacationer experiences at One Seagrove to be one of positive remembrance. They have assured me that this will not happen again. Apparently, there was a fairly new chair guy that didn't understand the importance of service and being flexible over enforcing the opening time. He probably thought he would get in trouble by his boss if he didn't enforce. Again my apologies.

Awesome condo and the best vacation spot ever!

Things that were above and beyond - The beds! The most comfortable beds you will ever sleep on. The AC. Kept us cool throughout the stay - never too hot or too cold. The atmostphere and quiet - even though lots of people were at the same building, we didn't hear a lot of outside noise. We could even hear the surf as we went to sleep each night. The cleanliness - the place was absolutely spotless! The location - Seagrove Beach may be the best kept secret ever! The pool - very nice, clean, and spacious The linens - the owner is generous with plenty of bath towels so you don't run out after one shower. The beach toys - lots of beach toys available - we didn't have room to bring any and there were plenty in the condo. The kitchen only has room for one adult to move around in comfortably. The overall size of the condo looks just a little bit bigger in pictures than it actually is, but I guess it is hard to tell in pictures. One disappointment was that other people who rented through the agency rather than through the owners got free beach chairs and umbrellas. We had to rent our own or do without. Overall, a very nice place and affordable. Compared to other units in this area, this is a great deal! I love all beaches, but this is the absolute best when you want to get away from the hustle and bustle and commercialism. Angelina's is about a block away - pizza, pasta, sandwiches - GREAT place to eat! We did carry out and ate it on the beach at sunset. Otherwise, around 7 pm there is a LONG wait.

Had a blast with my family at Friends on the Beach. Everything we needed was all there, from cooking utensils to flat sceen TVs to lots of towels. They even have a baby pack-n-play and high chair (I did not need them, but I have 3 younger children so I certainly can appreciate it). Great location and great beach. The owners were the nicest, most professional that I have dealt with. Will definitely go back!

Really enjoyed the King size bed in the master and the glass doors to the balcony. Nice view, and the crashing waves on the beach put us right to sleep each nite. Its really nice to sit on the balcony in the morning, with a cup of coffee and the breakfast and watching the dolphins swimming buy. You can actually see them under water swimming before they even come up for air. Got to see a sea turtle and a couple sting rays while there also. as far as shells go, a couple here an there but there mostly buried in the sand and you have to hunt, but they are there. Located around 5 great resturants within walking distance, live music, great italian food and a couple good bars. Would definitey come back again. I would rate my stay at One Seagrove Place as excellent. The unit has been upgraded nicely and everything seems like new. Plenty of linnen, very clean and all you could want in a vacation rental. The owners are very nice to deal with and very prompt. I will definately be staying here again in the future. A most pleasant experience!

We stayed Nov 17-21, 2010 and had a wonderful time. We spent most of our time out on the balcony, what a great view--got to see lots of sea life early in the mornings. It was nice to have the kitchen to be so well equipped. Enjoyed the decor also, not too 'beachy'. The heated pool was very enjoyable--we asked the management to bump up the heat and they did. Felt fabulous! Looking for a great meal, try Stinky's Fish Camp on 30-A. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation.

Beautiful Autumn Beach Week

We just got home from the beach. It was a fantastic week. We couldn't have hand picked better weather....low 60's at night, low 80's during the day, sunny, not a cloud in the sky. The condo suited us and was very well equipped. Enjoyed the flat screened TVs in the living room and bedrooms. The condo is furnished beautifully. We weren't sure how we would feel about a hi-rise, but the view was absolutely incredible!!! We watched dolphins from the deck every morning between 8 and 8:30 AM. We also saw stingrays, a shark and a sea turtle. The parking area seemed very safe and secure. We liked the fact there were luggage carts to get our belongings up and down the elevator. It was in a great area to walk on the beach and also, on 30A. It was an easy walk to Seaside. John and I averaged 4-5 miles of walking each day. We have rented from you folks a few times and have never been disappointed. Thanks so much for your hospitality! Penny

Thanks! We had a fabulous time at Seagrove. The girls loved being able to go to the beach each day. Of course the June grass was everywhere and I just hated that for them. I really wanted it to be crystal clear as it has been all the time I've been before. But like real troopers, that stuff didn't bother them. They played like it wasn't even there. The view from the room was fabulous. We couldn't wait to get up each morning and go out on the deck. My husband looked at me once and said, "Now this is a vacation." We took them to Disney World last year and it was great, but it was not a relaxing vacation like this was. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

My wife and I wanted a place to go and relax on the beach for a week. And we got exactly that. The condo was clean and was updated. It also a a beautiful view of ocean and beach. The beach is private and quiet which we really liked. There were plenty of really good restaurants around as well is you wanted to get out. Thanks Reba, we will be back hopefully soon.

After spending a 3 days in Amelia Island, my wife and I agreed it was time to go back to One Seagrove Place. We contacted the owners of FOB and found it to be available for June 16-19th. The condo is so wonderful and inviting for people who just love OSP. The feeling of home we had as soon as we walked in was much appreciated. We have been vacationing at One Seagrove Place for several years. This is the nicest condo we've stayed in thus far! We did have a favorite that we stayed in before this one, however we are now reconsidering...this condo has everything you need and more. My 8 yr old son was beyond thrilled with the TV and video games. Thanks for an absolutely wonderful stay!

My husband and I throughly enjoyed our week in Seagrove Beach. The condominium was described accurately on the website. The place was well maintained and even though there were only two of us, the place was big enough for four adults. The view of the ocean was incredible. We will recommend the place to family and friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed Friends at the beach. It was decorated so nice and we found that it was well stocked with all we would need. The weather was absolutely perfect-no rain at all. The flat screen TVs were nice as well. I will certainly refer you to others and be back myself. There were tons of great restaurants nearby and live music almost every night within a 5 mile radius. Thanks so much. Recommendations: provide extra toilet paper, only one partial roll in each bath for an eight night stay. :)

What a great place to spend our 2nd anniversary. Morning bike rides to Seaside for breakfast or early lunch. Condo was very nice with great views of the Gulf. We always spend a week at the beach this time of year and One Seagrove Place is where we will be staying again and again. So convenient to all of the restaurants, bike shop, and only steps from the beach. We had a great time. Thanks!

Great Vacation Condo

We had a wonderful time at this condo. The view is fantastic (as well as hearing the sound of the ocean) and everything in the condo is "as shown" in the pictures - very nice. The furniture was comfortable and the beds were very nice too. Having a washer/dryer right in the unit was great!! Being on the 8th floor was terrific - high enough for a good view without being too high. I spent alot of time on the balcony - very relaxing. I was also impressed with the upkeep of the One Seagrove Place building overall - very clean. The location of the condo was very convenient to restaurants/grocery store/sightseeing. It's in a safe area too. Angelina's Pizzeria and Pasta across the street had great food (pizza/lasagna/stromboli - delicious) as did Cocoon's (right across the street) and Pizza by the Sea (by Publix grocery store - very quick drive). The beautiful white-sand beach is extremely clean (never saw any trash) and when we went, uncrowded. We drove to Destin alot (approx. 30 min) which is an enjoyable, very easy drive - lots to do there. Had a great time at Just Chute Me parasailing and Olin Marler sunset cruise (both in Destin). Walking down Scenic Highway 30A outside our condo towards Seaside was fun. Our whole experience there was great - we have 2 teenage boys (18/17) who enjoyed their stay as well. The nice thing about the location was that it was laid back for relaxing but close enough to attractions if you prefer that too. I would recommend this condo to anyone. Reba and Jon, thank you for sharing your condo and for including things that made it seem like "a home away from home".

There is no other way to go but to be right on the beach is. Everyone morning the view of the Gulf was incredible and the location along 30A wonderful!

-Stayed here 1/4/2009 - 2/14/2009 Dear Reba We loved the condo, view and the great bed in the master bedroom (we didn't use the other bedroom but assume it's comfy too!). Unfortunately, it's home to biz-as-usual Saturday and the loooong countdown to January 2010 when we will again be free to return to "the Emerald Coast!!" The Gulf is spectacular and there couldn't be a better ocean view anyplace! This is an outstanding Condo right on the beach in Seagrove. The view is just what we hoped for... a front row seat to the rolling seas. The fully equipped unit has warm and cozy decor to make guests feel right at home.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The condo was very spacious so there was plenty of room to move around with a large family and the view is great!!!! Seagrove Beach is a beautiful place to stay. Destin and Panama City Beach are only 30 minutes away making it convenient to do anything you want to do. We will definately be back again soon.....

Our family stayed here in June 2007, and the decor is fabulous. It's beachy and stylish at the same time. It's fancy and comfortable as well. The children loved the dvd's, the xbox, and especially the lobster on the balcony wall. The view and closeness to the beach are fantastic.

FROM HARDCOPY GUESTBOOK: We have all really enjoyed the condo. The amenities are great and being able to wash our clothes was wonderful. The view is great. We have seen dolphins everyday and on Wednesday we saw 8 stingrays. The water has been spectacular and we have enjoyed every minute of our stay her. I'm dreading the leaving as I write this, but I plan to return again soon.---- Pisauro

A lovely place, we enjoyed the view of the ocean and generous balcony. It is one of the best condos we have stayed in with the benefit of one of the most reasonable rates. Quiet, clean neighborhood near good restaurants and services. Beautiful beach and amenities. We hope to return.

Our family stayed at this property in March 2007. The place is spotless; they have toys for the kids; they provide a book of listings of favorite restaurants in the area. The plasma TV's and the gaming system are fun for adults and kids alike! We all had a great time and will return again!

The condo was even nicer than the pictures showed!!! Everything was perfect and I really did feel like I was staying at a "friend's place"
