Independently owned and operated, the Crest Bayview Lodge offer travelers a comfortable, enjoyable, and restful stay. Beautifully appointed rooms and charming surroundings make this home one of a kind!
Our family has lived in the area for over 150 years and our home is full of mementos dating back to those early years. The property is located on 5 open acres overlooking the Monterey Bay. From the house, grounds and decks you can see the bay and enjoy the roar of the surf and hear the seals barking in the distance. Beach access is an easy 5+ minute downhill stroll by private path leading through the adjacent state park meadows to the beach. The spacious lawns and flower filled gardens provide many quiet nooks and seating areas as well as ample room for croquet, a game of Frisbee or fun on the trampoline. In season, the berry bushes provide a generous bounty for pies and other goodies. Essentially, our home is your home - away from home!

The house and grounds are lovely. It is so nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the burbs and have a view of nothing but grass, trees and ocean. The house layout worked very well for us - teen boys on one end in the master suite, girls in the loft, adults in the two bedrooms. The kitchen/family room has a sliding door that blocks sound to the rest of the house so it was a good place for either early risers or night owls to hang out when the rest of the household was sleeping. It took us 10-15 minutes to walk to the beach but such a nice walk not even the laziest child complained. The kids went swimming/boogie boarding every day. Rose was very helpful with any problems or questions. We have already booked for next summer.

Your house provided something wonderful for each generation of our family during our stay. The kids loved the trampoline, the loft, and the piano and the adults loved the easy beach access and the fabulous view on the deck. It exceeded our wants and expectations. Thank you so much!

We were delighted to approach the most lovely of homes. As we entered we felt the lodge say "Welcome and enjoy!" There is a feeling of calm and playfulness. We enjoyed every room-every space. The kids, all 6 of them, had a blast. Central Coast wine on the terrace, boogie boarding at the beach, meals at the large spacious table. We felt this has been a place of love and history - Thank you for sharing it.

Wow! What a home. Thank you. We enjoyed the beach and sitting on the deck at sunset. We picked berries at the Gizditch Ranch in Watsonille and the kids really enjoyed the trampoline. Great Memories!

We had a wonderful family vacation at this beautiful home. It was very relaxed and the accomadations were extremely comfortable. The home is quite large and we did not feel crowded even with 10 family members. The location was wonderful with easy access to the beach, Carmel-Monterey, and Santa Cruz areas. We highly recommend it to anyone who wants a homey place to stay.
