Summer offers swimming for the kids in the Shagbark pool nestled in the valley or strolls along the many streams observing the birds and wildlife. The peace and seclusion in this beautifully decorated home will make you want to return often.
Unlike so many cabins in the Area , you are not in a crowded parking lot with cabins closely packed so you must maneuver through the drive with all the other cabins right out your window,
Our grandchildren love horseback riding ,Rafting, a day in Dollywood (which they prefer to Disney World),the Dixie Stampede Dinner show or one of the many excellent family shows.

We built our two Chalets for family reunions. Our greatest joy is enjoying each other. The Great thing about Chalet Mignon is it’s close to entertainment for every age. Dolly Wood; Family Theaters; Smoky Mountain National Park, Shopping, Rafting, Fishing and so many other things. Yet once we go through the guard gates of Shagbark (a 1,700 acre wild life preserve) you feel like you are living in a park.
