We built our two Chalets for family reunions. Our greatest joy is enjoying each other. The Great thing about Chalet Mignon is it’s close to entertainment for every age. Dolly Wood; Family Theaters; Smoky Mountain National Park, Shopping, Rafting, Fishing and so many other things. Yet once we go through the guard gates of Shagbark (a 1,300 acre wild life preserve) you feel like you are living in a park.

This is a beautiful place that exceeded my expectations! The cabin was wonderful and spacious and the views were to die for! I loved watching the fog rise from the smoky mountains early in the morning. The town 20 minutes away has so much to do and see. I definitely will come back. It was the perfect place for a romantic getaway or honeymoon. It would also be a fun place for young adults to stay and spend time together. I loved coming back to the cabin after a long day of sight seeing and shopping to sit in the hot tub with my girl friends and chat.

It truly felt like a home away from home! I would recommend it to everyone. I spent the week here with my family and had a wonderful experience. The cabin is beautiful including the amazing views of the smokey mountains. There is so much to do here in the pigeon forge area! I could honestly stay here for weeks.

Chalet Mignon is a terrific location to enjoy a vacation in Pigeon Forge. The cabin is beautifully decorated and sleeps the whole family comfortably. You can enjoy the peaceful clear nights in an elegant setting or in a few minutes be attending one of the many attractions Pigeon Forge has to offer.The beautiful complex is gated for your peace of mind. In addition,the rustic charm and mountain views are spectacular and are certain to enhance your trip. I would highly recommend a stay at this chalet for your next mountain experience. Steve

What an excellent visit! Friends invited us to these cabins and I had no idea what a treat we were going to find! Both cabins are have three stories - with PLENTY of comfy beds and TWO full kitchens! We especially loved the bubbling hot tubs in the evening and looking out over the smoky mountains early in the morning. Ah, what beauty! Also, I had not realized we would not only be in a wilderness wonderland, but also have the option of visiting a full-scale, fun city (Gatlinburg) which is only about 20 minutes from the cabins. It's great because it can fit large groups/families and has the wilderness (complete with hikes and waterfalls and wildlife...we saw several wild turkeys and earlier, some friends saw a bear :) and also, for those who want the fun and shopping and shows of the city...that option is not too far away! You will love it! :)
Owner response:We chose it because of the wonderful park like setting. Sometimes we just sit inside & enjoy the view of the mountains.My daughter in law saw the bear out the window but I missed it. Whats great is we can get to the shows in town in less then 25 minutes.

We just returned from a 5 night stay at Chalet Mignon. What a wonderful time we had. Everything is just as described. Beautiful views and plenty of room for our family of 14. The owners have put alot of love into this property. Well taken care of. They were also very helpful in telling us everything from the best places to shop, to the cheapest gas stations, etc. The grand kids were especially thrilled with the resident raccoon, who paid us a visit every day, peeping in the sliding doors. After long days of site seeing, the guys shot pool, the girls lounged in the hot tub and the grand kids passed out. I will definately return and recommend this chalet to others.

This was a beautiful chalet and away from the bustling cities filled with tourists. The drive was beautiful and took a little more time than I expected but it was very peaceful and quiet. A nice change from the cities we toured. The chalet looks just like the pictures and the owners were very helpful with hints of what to do while we were vacationing. We loved our vacation. Thank you.
