Relax & enjoy the serenity of Dauphin Island! Our beachfront Condominium is our favorite vacation place! You can stay at the beach the whole time & read a book, watch the dolphins, & find seashell's in the sand or go out and explore the many activities that the Island has to offer. (My Mother's favorite place is sitting in the cozy red loveseat with her book and her binoculars!) From the third story condominium the Beach seems only steps away! You can watch the Dolphins swim by & play!
Walk down to the Pier to watch the sunset or go fishing or take a long stroll on the white sand beach! My favorite thing about Dauphin Island is that I can truly relax. If you want to go out for dinner or entertainment; Mobile, Gulf Shores or even Biloxi are close enough for a night out on the town! I also love antiquing in the neighboring towns.
We enjoy the golf course just a few minutes away (right on the beach)and boating. Your kids will love to go crabbing at night on the beach with their flashlights! You can also rent bikes and ride on the trails throughout the island! Rentals are available for boats & fishing or site seeing charters on the island & 15 minutes away at Pelican Reef Marina.
The Island is loaded with history such as Ft. Gaines, the Indian Shell Mounds, Ancient Oaks, The Shell Island Light House, & Middle Bay LightHouse. It is a great place to enjoy every holiday & local events. We just returned from a wonderful week at this beautiful condo. Dauphin Island is the quaint barrier island we remembered. It is definately a place you will want to return to again and again.
