The unspoiled, white sands and emerald water of Perdido Key, Florida are the most attractive part of vacationing here. In addition, the area feels somewhat removed, enjoying a slower pace. It is the Florida experience we recall from years ago but with a modern luxurious twist at the Indigo Resort. Indigo sets a new standard for luxury.
The views are spectacular from every window and are surrounded by water with the Gulf of Mexico, Old River, and the Intracoastal Waterway. Seven acres of exquisite landscaping, the largest pool of any resort on the island with a smaller pool for children and a large hot tub.
Located within a radius of 20 miles are many golf courses (including a new Arnold Palmer Golf Course), wonderful shopping, (including Tanger Outlet mall with over 120 brand name outlets) and reasonably priced restaurants featuring amazingly prepared fresh seafood. Some of our favorites are within a few miles of Indigo. A short walk on the beach you can find jet skis and parasailing or arrange a deep sea fishing trip where you can catch fish and have it prepared for you by Zekes down under or Doc's seafood.
You catch, they will cook, of course, the gourmet kitchen at Indigo 1602 East has everything you need to prepare it yourself. If you are unfamiliar with Perdido Key area and would like a few suggestions of sites to see and restaurants to visit; I would be glad to help with those arrangements.
When you have experienced enough fun and sun for a day, retiring to your condominium at Indigo is a vacation all by itself. You will pass through the private gates and a grand entrance with a porte cochere. Access your own private foyer when your personal elevator doors open. Your entry is through secured double doors to greet a professionally decorated home away from home. The fine appointments on the interior were professionally designed by Montage Interiors and Wirth Designers.
Completely custom for your vacation. More than 2000 square feet of living space and two balconies await you. The kitchen has beautiful granite counter tops and a breakfast bar. Upgraded, quality appliances include dishwasher, smooth cook top, wall oven with built in microwave, double door refrigerator with water and ice on door. Toaster, commercial grade blender, coffee maker with bean grinder, ice tea maker and crock pot.
A separate dining room boasts a beautiful dining table with custom upholstered chairs. The dining room also displays a gorgeous china cabinet and lenox china for your special occasions. The living room has surround speakers with 42 inch plasma t.v., custom decorator pillows and furniture. The 9 foot tall sliding glass doors open to a large patio with an unsurpassed 16th floor view of the Gulf of Mexico.
The master bedroom is a beautifully decorated retreat. It has a king size 4 poster bed, a flat screen t.v. and ample storage and closet space. The master also has a 9 foot sliding glass door to the balcony. The master bath has a travertine shower and a jacuzzi tub, double sinks. All the beds are deluxe swiss Tempur-pedic mattresses. The two guest bedrooms have a balcony of their own that has beautiful views that extend for miles of Old River and the Intracoastal waterway. They each are beautifully decorated and upgraded with flat screen tv's and their own baths.
We have not forgotton the kids. We have included for your convenience beach toys and water toys and a cooler for taking your drinks down to the beach or pool, as well as beach towels.
