Our home on Upper Captiva is the perfect getaway. The island truly allows you to get away from it all as it is only accessible by boat or ferry. The ultimate in relaxation! Shelling and fishing abound. Transportation around the island is by golf cart, bicycle or foot. The island has a very laid back, informal feeling.

The master bedroom has a queen bed with bath. The second bedroom also has a queen size bed and the other bedroom has 2 twin beds. Combine this with the futon in the den and 2 couches in the living room it sleeps 10. The kitchen is well stocked. A large screen tv with satellite is available for your viewing pleasure. The private pool is beautiful with a very large deck for sunning or entertaining.

Views are breathtaking from the crows nest. You can see water from every direction. There are 2 large screened balconies as well. You can see the water from almost every room in the house.

Rentals include golf cart, all linens, and cooking utensils.

  • We love this house. The home is gorgeous and well maintained. The rooms are beautifully decorated with that beachy feel--tastefully done. Very light and airy with windows on every side and breezy porches. It was perfect for our vacation. To be right in the middle of palm trees and beaches was idealistic. Watching the dolphins playing on the bayside, then fishing off the bay, beach or pass only to go to each beach on the island was a dream fulfilled. The shelling at each beach was totally different. Then grilling burgers by the pool and sitting in the crows nest watching the sunrises and sunsets all made for a perfect, peaceful vacation.
