Location: Hyannis, Cape Cod, Massachusetts, USA
Accommodations: House, 4 Bedrooms, 3 Baths (Sleeps 4-8)
Truly a special and unique home, a former bed and breakfast, this little garden oasis in the heart of historic Hyannis best describes this lovely house. Lushly landscaped, this circa 1830's Cape was moved to its current location in 1898 and retains many of its historic details and charm.
Wide plank painted wood floors, single panel doors with iron hardware let you step into the past while enjoying the modern conveniences of luxury towels and sheets, custom made drapes and the new bathrooms that have been added in found spaces.
It has the location: walk to beach and walk to Main St. with its 30 + restaurants and even more shops, the John F Kennedy Museum and only one mile to the scenic Hyannis Harbor where you can take the ferries to the islands. BBQ or just relax with a glass of wine in a plant-filled patio or read the afternoon away on the pretty screened in porch.
This house has Four bedrooms decorated with vintage furniture and accessories as well as plenty of beautiful books on all subjects. The new kitchen reflects a country style and is filled with retro features and plenty of sunshine! Have breakfast at the table or the granite bar. Walk to town; walk to Sea Street Beach (1/2 mile), Hyannis Harbor and ferries (1 mile).
Hyannis is a wonderful central location from which to explore the rest of the Cape and Islands.

We loved our stay at the Sleepy Rooster! From the beautiful patio, to the eclectic collections and interesting art & books, to the 3 bathrooms….it was all perfect. We also enjoyed the location, both within Hyannis and on the Cape. The only sad part is having to leave…but hope we can come back some day!

Thank you very much for such a lovely cottage, which made our stay very enjoyable. We had so much fun in the waves at the Cape Cod National Seashore, swam with the seals, toured many of the bike paths, discovered wonderful wild blueberry fields. In your house, we enjoyed the patio and its large table, your excellent homemade jams, all your bookshelves….and our children the DVD library! Merci

We enjoyed everything on the Cape. The house and courtyard helped us celebrate some serious family time. We served 10-12 from the kitchen & grill, used each bed and showered outside! We made memories! Thanks
