The year-round 2 bedroom/1.5 bath cottage across the street from the Russian River is nestled among the backdrop of cedar and redwood trees that envelop along the river area.

The cottage is just six minutes (driving) to the charming Downtown Plaza Square - Winter is a great time to visit the Sonoma Area. Wine tasting, shopping, Wine Barrel Tasting, fine restaurant dining and splendor of the Alexander Valley and Calistoga region are the finer choices you have near the quaint town of Healdsburg.

A special gathering BBQ/back patio area and hot tub is available for your entertaining. Fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need for your stay. Living room has vaulted knotty pine ceiling with ambiance surround lighting on dimmer. Tastefully decorated with a couch, wicker chair, recliner, invite a comfortable atmosphere for relaxing or curling by a fire, reading, watching T.V, or enjoying board games. Wireless WiFi and Ipod connection is at the Cottage. Bring your Laptop.

Second sleeping room is a charming knotty pine room (12x22) with vaulted open beamed ceiling. This added sleeping area occupies two twin beds put together to make a king bed, T.V. VCR, DVD, couch and love seat with a adjacent 1/2 bath.

One hour from San Francisco (easy access from scenic 101 North), or two hours from Sacramento, 45 minutes from Bodega Bay and Jenner by the Sea, two world-renowned vista spots overlooking the dramatic Pacific Ocean coastline. Armstrong National Park is about 45 minutes away, as well as, Lake Sonoma one of the largest lakes in the Northern California area. Calistoga is 20 minutes from the cottage; Napa is 40 minutes from the cottage; Mendocino is 1 1/2 hours from the cottage

  • My husband and I stayed at Vicki's cabin. It is a quaint and delightful place, quiet and relaxing. The river is a short walk from the cabin, and downtown Healdsburg with all its shops and restaurants is only a 10 minute drive. Vicki has provided every amenity you could ask for. If you don't want to stay in an overpriced motel and want all the comforts of home. this is the place for you.

  • September 6, 2008 Victoria hosted a Wine and food tasting with a local caterer on the front deck that was absolutely delicious from the food to the company. Such a gracious hostess, tending to your every desire. Under the great pine trees listening to the river running and the birds singing were the most inviting, relaxing time I've had in a long time. All accomodations make a person feel right at home. I will be back often!
