Property is exactly as described, fully-stocked, stunning view. Great wood stove, with plenty of wood. Was the quietest place I have ever stayed. Loved watching the eagle's nest. Honor system works well and prior visitors followed instructions. Not for those who expect a maid--is a cabin in woods and is best for folks who treat rental as kindly as their own home. Best value on the island!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, pet owners, girls getaway.

I stayed at this house last fall for a girls getawy. I live nearby and actually manage a cabin here also but wanted somewhere different. When our place it booked I give people this listing (perhaps foolishly!) This place is such a great deal! Big yard with high bank waterfront. Comfy and relaxing, but not fancy. Everything is supplied. The upstairs loft has a view and room for yoga. Even a TV monitor with some movies, CD player in the kitchen, big washer/dryer. Must clean up after yourself. I think it would be great for families except that the loft upstairs in open and a little one could fall into the lower floor.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
