The "cabin" is better than the pictures. It is so comfortable, clean, well equipped with everything you could want. Anna, who handles the rental, lives across the lane and could not have been more friendly and helpful without being the least bit intrusive. My husband and I took classes at the John Campbell Folk Art School during our stay at the cabin. It was only about a 6 minute drive and provided a wonderful place to relax in the evening. We enjoyed the mountain views and birds while having breakfast and dinner on the deck. Seeing flying squirrels at night was a real bonus! Looking forward to returning.

This "cabin" is the ideal getaway place. It has the rustic feel of cabin but is very clean and beautifully furnished and outfitted so that we could enjoy the mountains while still having all the amenities of home. We also liked the location. Its secluded but not scary-secluded and has breathtaking views. Nearby, we had easy access to hiking, scenic drives, a nice little town, and a restaurant in which we ate a Thanksgiving dinner that was almost as good as home. I would definitely recommend it!

Close enough to white water rafting, mountain trails, towns, antique stores, art galleries and restaurants to stay as busy as you want. Far enough away to just escape and enjoy the amazing views, the fireplace and the cozy, homey cabin. Equipped with everything you could need, the cabin is a real home away from home. We've had the pleasure of staying here several times now and look forward to another say in the future.
