This modern, spacious home is located in one of Austin's most prestigious neighborhoods. Down the street there are many lovely restaurants. With a mile is University of Texas and the myriad of activities and services adjoining the campus. Around four miles away is Downtown Austin, the Central Business District, Congress Avenue and 6th Street. It is also a short walk to Pease Park and Shoal Creek, which is a great place for hiking and biking. The bike trail runs right by the house, as does the Cap Metro #19 bus line.
The house is a 2000 square feet, 3 bedroom and 2 1/2 bathrooms. It is beautifully and tastefully furnished by the architect-owner and fully furnished with high-quality sheets, towels and kitchen equipment. The entire downstairs is open, which makes it a great place for large groups to gather. Loads of glass throughout, and a fabulous walled-in courtyard and large yard with dining table and chairs. Families with small children will be pleased to find the house has everything from books to toys, high chair, pack and play, kiddie pool, hammock, a trike and more.
The house is stocked with many condiments, paper goods, soaps, shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer, iron. If you want to rent a bike, University Cyclery (right down the street) has them available.

  • What a WONDERFUL house! My family and I stayed here for Easter weekend and it was perfect. The house is very spacious and beautiful. We loved the outdoor areas which had a hammock, large yard and so many places to sit out and enjoy a meal. We hosted 30 people for Easter Sunday dinner and the kitchen was so well equipped we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back! Thank you Kiki for everything.

Thank you for a wonderful experience and for helping us to feel incredibly comfortable on our vacation! Our two year old daughter's favorite part of the whole trip was playing with the toys and train set! My favorite parts were the modern decor, the organic & earth-friendly products provided for guests, and the huge bathtub in the master bedroom. We had an amazing time and would definitely return to this gorgeous home. :)
