  Porto Fino is a very beautiful complex, great location with a bus stop right in front. It has a heated pool and never a shortage of chairs,and is ocean front and the pool and grounds are breath taking. The restaurant is fairly priced with great food and service. The condo was very nice and confortable and had everything for cooking, cleaning, and relaxing. there is a safe in the condo for your use which is great, we enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean in the mornings, and laying by the pool in the afternoons,and visiting with the wonderful people that stay at Porto Fino. made use of the hot tube in the evenings.The owner was a pleasure to deal with, right from the start to the end of the renting process, if you emailled her you could be sure that she would get back to you withing 24hours, if not sooner very helpful, i would recomend this condo and complex to my family members or friends.

  The condo is very nice, in a great complex, close to everything. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony, listening to the waves and having a front row seat for the spectacular sunsets. The pool area is large with an abundance of loungers. Never a problem getting one and you didn't have to be down there at the break of dawn to secure one. The owner was in regular contact to make sure that we had everything we needed and to address any issues. She was wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend this unit, for that reason alone.

  Very nice complex, excellent pool and grounds, and located within easy walking distance to the Marina with its many services and restaurants. Comfortable condo with a large private patio overlooking the gardens, pool and ocean. Owner is very responsive to any needs which may arise.

  The Portofino is an excellent property in the Marina. Well located and convenient. The grounds are very nice and not too large. As well, in contrast to other properties, it is very close to the street and the bus to downtown will stop in front. The pool area is perfect and the beach is very pleasant. A couple of days, there was a bit of tussle to get our usual pool side lounge, but that was the exception. The condo itself has all of the basics and the safe that we could use was appreciated. The owner is very good at keeping in touch to address any problems that might arise.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

  This condo far exceeded my expectations and the pictures do not fully capture the beauty of this site. The condo was very comfortable and well equipped with linens ,towels, utensils, etc.We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace each morning with the gentle breezes and the palm trees swaying. The grounds are meticulously maintained as well as the buiding itself. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the service was outstanding. There were ample tables and lounges around the pool area and lots of lounges and palapas on the beutiful large beach. There is a snackbar by the pool with very good food and drinks reasonably priced with great service and delivery to your unit. We were a 5 minute walk to the marina with a multitude of shops and restaurants with great food and many choices. The buses will stop right outside the building if you want to go to Wal Mart or into the city for only 6.5 pesos. We always took the bus as it is a lot of fun and you meet other tourists were you can share information. Cabs are abuntant and very reasonable at 60 oesos in the central zone which encompasses the condo and downtown. We enjoyed the glorious weather with beautiful sunshine and no humidity and not a cloud in the sky. Eating out in the evening did not require a coat or sweater. The owner was very responsive to any concerns and was very helpful and informative. We look forward to our return.

  This condo far exceeded my expectations and the pictures cannot capture the beauty of this site. The unit was well equiped and very comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace each mornig was incredible with the palm trees swaying in the gentle breeze. The grounds were meticulosly maintained as well as the building itself. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the service was outstanding. There were ample tables and lounges to go around and a lot of room on the beautiful large beach. There is a snack bar with very good food and drinks good service, they will also deliver to you unit. We were a five minute walk from the marina were there is a multitude of shops and restaurants serving very good food. A large Wal Mart is a 10 minute bus ride with a fare of 6.5 pesos , the same price to go downtown. We would take a cab back with our groceries for a cost of 60 pesos. We also loved the city and often took the bus as we found it very enjoyable. The owner was very responsive to any question or concern we may have had. All in all it was one of the best vacations we ever had. I must mention the incredible weather we had with out a cloud in the sky for the entire time we were there. The evenings were perfect and there was no need for a sweater or jacket. We will teturn.
