Our relaxing affordable Cottage is designed for price conscious vacationers who desire a nature experience without a noisy condominium or large hotel atmosphere. The Thai House is located one block from the ocean.
The Thai House is a unique tropical style one room cottage. It offers an exotic atmosphere and the feeling of being in a far away land distant from the city life.
It has tropical island furnishings and a kitchen complete with full size refrigerator and stove. The private outdoor tropical shower located right outside the door; a lovely area surrounded by banana trees and orchids. The garden features a large carved lava Buddah head next to the picnic table.
You will be just minutes away from Kauai’s world famous attractions: The spectacular Kalalau Hiking Trail, very close to Tunnels Beach (fabulous snorkeling and diving), enjoy kayaking on the Hanalei River. We are confident that after a few nights stay with us you will appreciate why people call Kaua'i "paradise on earth."
The owners live on the property in a separate home as their principal residence and are available for your convenience.

My husband and I just recently stayed at the Thai House in Haena Kauai and we were very impressed! The Thai House has character and charm and so much privacy. When inside the views from the windows show beautiful lush green plants. You feel like you are in a serine beautiful jungle away from the rest of the world. At the same time you are in walking distance to many nice beaches. There is a great coffie shop down the street that makes a mouth watering kona mocha smoothie! About a fifteen minute walk away you can reach Tunnels Beach which is absolutely gorgeous and is known for it's amazing snorkling. The Thai House has a wonderful outdoor shower ( very private with lots of room) and has views of pretty lush plants. The king size bed is very comfortable and the house is kept very clean. When I travel it is very important to me that I stay in a clean place and even though this house is rustic it was imaculate! The owners are very kind, helpful and make you feel welcome. The Thai House even had special touches like a library of books that one could take off the shelf to read, including books that tell you all about the island of Kauai and what there is to do ect. It is obviouse that so much thought and care has been put into the house and property. The grounds have beautiful views from every direction and is great for taking photo's. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay and next time we come to Kauai we will stay at the Thai House. We thank the owners for making the Thai House such a special place to stay therefore making our trip a beautiful memory.
