Our fully furnished, three bedroom cottage is in a quiet subdivision on two connecting lakes, South and North Scott Lake. We have 100 feet of lake frontage with a sandy beach. For a nice trip around the lake we have a 18-foot pontoon boat. Also a raft, canoe, row boat and paddle boat. Plenty of fishing, swimming, sun bathing and just relaxing.
The cottage is equipped with all the essentials: microwave, washer, dryer, electric stove, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots and pans, refrigerator. We have satellite TV, A new 42" TV, a Playstation 2, central air, and a fireplace.
There is a gas grill for cook-outs and plenty of picnic tables. Within 20 minutes, there is all kinds of shopping in Kalamazoo or South Haven, a winery in PawPaw and the Kal-Haven trail are also close by. There is a 3-Par golf course just a quarter mile away and a ski resort just minutes down the road.

$500 deposit required at booking.

This was our second visit to Scott Lake. We had a great time, the weather was good. the swimming great and my granddaughters even caught fish! What a plus the pontoon boat is. We did go to South Haven on a rainy day and caught a movie and went to lunch. The house is very comfortable and Dale and Mary are great if you need help..
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

This rental is just as it is described. There was plenty of fishing, plenty of relaxing, the pontoon boat was such a wonderful amenity, we were on it every day and enjoyed every minute of it. We also used the paddle boat and the canoe and swam around and jumped off of the floating raft. It was a great time for Mom, Dad and the kids. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing week at the lake. We also drove in to Kalamazoo a few times for bowling, putt-putt and go-karts -- great to have both the relaxing lake and the nearby activities as well. Mary and Dale were great to deal with as well -- we will definitely keep this in mind for somewhere we would love to come back to even though we live all the way down in Houston!!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

My family had a great vacation at the cottage. It has a wonderful swim area and a lake full of fish. The cottage is larger than the outside appears and the pontoon boat is a big plus! We will hopefully be enjoying the lake again next year.

This is our second year staying on Scott Lake. Again, we enjoyed ourselves completely!! Boating, swimming, grilling, shopping, and campfires. A perfect week. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation!!

We had a great time during our vacation at the cottage on the lake. Having access to the pontoon boat anytime was a huge bonus. The cottage is very comfortable and well-equipped. We even enjoyed our own cooking....blueberry pancakes for breakfast, a lunch on the lake, and grilling out almost every night, which turned out to be a very reasonable for us. The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood and is in a very peaceful setting. Bangor, MI has a nice grocery store and a great meat and produce market. South Haven is just 10-15 miles away and has more shopping choices. There is a u-pick blueberry farm about 10-15 minutes away. We spent a lot of time on the water boating and fishing and just relaxing.

What a great place!! We had a wonderful vacation staying at this property. We spent a week boating, swimming and fishing. We even ventured to South Haven and a nearby winery for a vineyard tour. We plan on going back next summer and have recommended the place to many of our friends!! This is truly a "don't miss" vacation spot in southwest Michigan.

The house was amazing! More than I expected! It has everything you need to have a great relaxing weekend. There is plenty of room and things to do for all families. The best thing about it is the price. You cant beat it. You can sleep up to 6 people comfortably, theres a pontoon boat, a new grill, firepit, sandy lake front, friendly neighbors, a raft to jump off in the lake and I could go on forever. Just a wonderful place to vacation at.
